What is Hayabossa? Remember at the end of story mode when Kasumi and the ninjas fight that version of Alpha that turned into all the ninjas midfight and glowed blue and junk? Of course you don't, because no one paid attention to the story mode. Well anyway, I can assure you that does happen if you stick it out until the end. What's interesting is that these transformations use the basic moves of the respective character, except that there are some hidden tweaks in the move properties.

What's even more interesting is that thanks to some stellar coding work, these versions are actually playable... sort-of. Your game has to totally go bonkers and glitch-out, of course, but that's a small price to pay to be a ninja-smurf, right?
You may be thinking: "Hax!" You would be wrong. This is just a good ol' fashioned glitch, brought to my attention via the awesome @DestructionBomb
You may be thinking: "How do I replicate it?" You will be disappointed. I have no idea.
You may be thinking: "That's pretty awesome... and broken." You would be right; twice. Sorta.

So, they're apparently added into the random pool. You have a couple different versions, including:
1) Bossumi (Kasumi who glows blue)
2) Bossyane (Ayane who glows blue)
3) Sir Dorkwad (Hayate who glows blue)
4) Wooden Kasumi (Kasumi who glitches out and breaks the game)
5) Kasumi - Kunoichi of Derpstiny (fists are clenched, always looking to the sky like a moron, also breaks the game)
6) Game crash (not a character, just refuses to load and ruins your hard-on)
7) HAYABOSSA!!!!!

Hayabossa is the blue boss form of Hayabusa. He has some property alterations. He can also tag team with normal Ryu. Whaaaat? Yeah. But he does have some different properties. How do they play out in terms of balance? Like most TN balancing, the changes don't make a whole lot of sense. Let's go over some of them that I noticed:
4H+K is +5 on block
6KP is +15 on block
KK is -12 on block
P is 11 frames
PP4PK/4PK tracks
6K causes a lift (that can't be juggled) on NH

How can this be incorporated? I'm not really sure. That's where you come in. You see, I suck at Tag. I literally can't do any tag combo nonsense to save my life. Add to that it's very rare to get Hayabossa using the Random method. So, has anyone else encountered this anomaly? And if so, do you have anything to share? Here's a small vid to start things off, featuring my scrubbiness in tag at 100% (yes, this is the part where you get the initiative to go and perfect my sloppy 6KK loop and upload a video of it).

It's pretty cool actually. Back then I wanted to delete my save data because this glitch was a tad annoying, I had no clue on how this glitch appeared and I had no way of removing it or disabling it, but if I ever wanted to delete my data then I would have to unlock the characters and titles again. Here's more (I'm not really good with hayabusa but some neat stuff here).

He still has Hayabusa's taunts, his teleport sound effects are more depth and his power blow is a different color.:

This is a tag between the two, I also notice is that his health is shared with regular hayabusa...that is weird. The teleport partner swap is quite hilarious. Also a cool winpose at the end:

And this is against the A.I using him:

Not sure If I'd get in trouble for this. I mean my save is glitched so I kinda wanted to show to brute and other players. I don't really play this game anymore so I'm on 5U with a clean file.

How do you get them to actually show up? Do you just keep on doing random tags until one of them shows up & which version of DOA5 does this work on? e3e...

He sounds worse than normal ryu lol, only good thing is the 4 h+k and tracking 3 h+k.
Some things like 6K I think were done for the transform properties. So they can get a quick lift, transform/tag to cancel the recovery and juggle you, then turn back for an air throw or something. 4H+K and 6KP are just weird, but not nearly as weird as KK. You have to stop and think why they changed that from +0 to -12. For no reason. I mean... whaaaat?

I don't really know. It happens only with certain savedata after it gets corrupted somehow. As far as how to corrupt it in the first place, I couldn't say. After it is corrupted, you just pick random, remove all but two characters in the random pool, and hope you get lucky.

"Weird." Yes...

You can get in trouble for hax, but not glitches. This nonsense is all TN. Relish it.

Hey Brute, during the Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Arcade trailer, during Hayabusas Shoho Izuna, his voice during the drop is changed, is it possible that this will change with the new update, or is it only for the actual Japan arcade editions?

I think that they just custom inserted that sound file for the video itself, and that even in-game the Arcade has the same Shoho sound our console versions do. So I doubt it, honestly.
