Would it be a good idea to bring my console? Or will there be enough?

I'm not complaining; I've always wanted it to be 10. Gives me a little more incentive to come. When I had my pick-up, it was 30 to Toronto and back, venue fee, then 5 to play. It was 40+ to come play. Even if we have 10 people (and we never do) it's a $50 pot, so I'm never breaking even...

1p+k is a limbo, too 3pp is completely guaranteed after both. CB is holdable, but not staggerable.

But it's not a frame trap, it's negative; If you both hit a button you lose. It's abare. What's wrong with the same combo over and over? That's how you get the most damage. It's also how you condition the other player

Personally I think speed is kinda irrelevant between 2p and 2H+K: you're using them to crush high; any fast mid is gonna beat them both the same, and one has better reward. 1p is -2 now, so I don't see a reason to ever use that. 9p is -3 or 4, so it's not a frame trap 1p+k can be staggered...

He meant substituting something like 1H+KPPP with 1H+K - 8PPP, or PP1K with PP - 1H+K, etc. Give the guy a break.

See, I didn't say it was "super easy" or that i could react to every single one, I said it wasnt that hard; you're twisting words. It's slow enough that you CAN react to it -- maybe not 100% when you're in the moment, but well enough. You said "don't tell me i20 moves are slow", so I did...

i20 attacks are slow: Lei Fangs sweep isn't hard to react to. Comparing it with mids is apples and oranges.

When you knock someone to the ground you'll get a certain amount of advantage (it shows in the details); the attack you use to FT has to hit within a certain range of that number. For the sake of the thread: finish a combo with 9kk and see what you get.

I'm lost on this low game everyone keeps talking about. Playing range well doesn't equate to a character that isn't "weak": Jann (who I'd place above Hitomi) can do those things and is mid tier at best.
