    There's an arcade build up in NY and a venue for it. Though arcade support for arcades on shipment and all that is not very popular. People use to scum play arcades back in the day which is one of the reasons of arcade downfall along with rent, electric bill etc.

    Scum playing was when you use a rope on a quarter and pull it back out before it hits the bypass and the cabinet will think you payed, it would be just sitting there eating up that light bill with no quarters in the small housing bank but this was back in the day where the machines didn't have the best safety measures to stop that.

    It would be nice if it becomes a thing in the west for ultra popularity, but it will be tough on present day because of console gaming/PC, online multiplayer to play with others this time etc. It would have to make an extraordinary comeback to surprise people to play at arcades that's outside of nostalgia or arcade feels.
    the visual design of Jump Force bugs me, putting realistic, super high rez textures on cartoony ass characters that look like they're made out clay just looks weird :/
    so if you get hit while you backdash it counts as a counter hit, we all know this, but getting hit while forward dashing or running and it's just a NH? what kind of bullcrap is that?!?!

    I believe it has it as well. I think only Tekken doesn't have it cause of its natural back-to-block.

    Yeah, it's punishment for improper spacing of your backdashes. Happens in VF5FS & SCV along with DOA5R. Tekken 7 has auto-block so you can mindlessly backdash as much as you want lol. #FOOTSIES!
    I love me some Senran Kagura but even I have to look at Reflexions and be like "who asked for this!?" SK fans obviously but still...

    Same with the fsdc. Changing it would mean work and we all know how jap devs are. Meanwhile MK changed the whole network code and the devs change almost too much. KT does the same (nothing) for fans of Nobunaga and romance of the three kingdoms. Hence they have nothing but bugged games and mostly negative reviews and memes
    this generation of consoles sux for beat-em-ups and hack and slashers, everything's either deliberately retro or aggressively average :(

    Honoka likely is retaining all her Brad Wong moves. Still really uncertain if Brad Wong will return. He's not popular and has minimal story relevance. Yeah, that Bayman player was jokes lol.
    having an oppai mousepad sounds cool, but having to throw it in the closet everytime your family or normal friends come over sounds like a hassle :/
    Outside of some new throws and a wacky looking fatal rush string, honoka looks like honoka. Also lvl 3 launches look really low, and I wonder if you still can't hold out of sds?

    It's not that level 3 launch is low, it's that there is no longer a launch height change based on critical level. I.e., level 1 launch is the same height as level 3 launch

    so what changes the launch height if not critical level? cause going back and watching more footage im seeing some matches where players get comboed to hell and back and when they get launched it looks super weak, but in other cases it looks like traditional doa where high crit lvl = high launch, is there something im missing?

    i wonder if break holds will still work if your opponent hits you while you're backturned, like if helena lands a BT throw on me will the first 2 hits of 3ppp be free or will i be able to break hold before she can hit me post throw? I need to know!

    That's going to be guaranteed. It takes 4-5 frames to turn back around. If the advantage is the same from Helena with the throw, break blow won't even commence if the advantage is too high where it lands.

    Course, that sounds delicious and I'm sure Brad Wong, Pai, and Jann Lee can get out of it in DOA5LR, but that would wound Helena's gameplan and would be a nerf.
