I don't think so, Lisa has some good tools to deal with Ayane, her 3K, and 236K4 are both really good in general. I think that's an even matchup, if not slightly in Ayane's favor, very doable. Lisa vs Christie on the hand....

Ayane is every grappler's nightmare.... however in the Lisa match up its not so bad. Lisa is the most mobile of all the grapplers and has great BT Defense incase Ayane tries to hop over you.

I can deal with Christie just fine, might have to do with the fact I main Christie lol. Maybe its just me thats messing up fighting ayane.

As opposed to other characters where it feels like you have the advantage over Ayane?

I just seems like Ayane can compete with Lisa's keepaway and when either character has to get in, it seems like Ayane has a stronger up close game than Lisa but it could just be my inexperience with Lisa.

Right. And my point is that Lisa is not a unique case in that regard. Plenty of other characters are at disadvantage against Ayane at long range, medium range and close range.

Gruff and I have played this match up out for a long while. And I've had the pleasure of playing Kwiggles in the same match up at NEC.
