We already hat quite a lot funny offline sessions (though he had no real idea of what he was doing) when i was at his home, but getting him to the point where he would start the game by himself to play / train seems to be pretty ... unattainable xD
Ok, understandable since he does not have a ps4 nor does he own the game, that's why I said I'm gonna share the pc version with him, so he wouldn't have to buy anything.
Some people are just not really in FG's or are only casual. Doesn't help that DOA5LR is so damn complex for newbies. Every time I try to explain it to someone, it quickly becomes overwhelming.
If someone wanted advice for DOA5LR, I'll tell them to download Core Fighters if they have a PS3, PS4 or Xbone and go use the Tutorial Mode as a guide first, then go practice with Command Training then Combo Training.
Its still a pretty good tutorial..... what TN should have done what Sega did wit VF..... have some one make a beginners guide video series for all the character specific stuff and how to play them.
The tutorial does a good job of making you aware of the game's mechanics and how they work in a general sense. It doesn't do a good job of teaching you how to fight beyond mashing buttons. It's not really TN's responsibility to have character tutorials, though it would be cool. Character tutorials is what a site like FSD should be doing.
