But be that as it may, it's more about the guard break pressure than anything. If you land the hit, great which is why forced techs should still be available to all really from there you could continue your onslaught.

my point being.. hayabusa really aint a character u can be cheap with. yea, u can turtle with him and whatnot but muhfuqqas catch on to that shit and his head but dont even guard break anymore and he can be grab punished soo easily, not to mention he is significantly slower in this DOA sooo....
Even though he's slow he's got good mid ranged moves as well, from far range he's still not effective, because you can free step every one of his options... but his actual guard breaks are something to used, they're 10x better than Hayate's(literally)

I agree with Composite. People always call my Ryu cheap as well. You can't be cheap with Ryu. The only half-OP skill he's got is Ongyoin 6P+K because it's so fast, but like he said, people catch onto that shit real quick.
People call it cheap because when hes on the screen teleporting it looks so gimmicky yet can be so effective. I mean people say Kasumi is cheap because of 6P+K after 7K lol.
'Hayate's guard breaks are all +1 or lower, with the exception of his wind dash one which would be +7 but it's just as slow as the rest, it can just move a distance.
1 x 10 = 10. Hayabusa 4pk is +9. His 4p+k is +23 or something, as is his 1kp. Hayate can't get that much advantage unless he guard breaks with his power blow.
It's slow, but since it covers distance and animation-wise looks identical to his throw (and if I recall correctly, strikes mid) someone either has to guess correctly or sidestep perfectly. It's not great but far from useless. 7x10=70(>60)
@Murakame: LMAO! Kasumi's 7K6P+K is far from overpowered. If anything it's slightly underpowered for how tight the timing has to be. You'd think you could get better juggle damage from it than KK (which to my extent is the max. correct me if wrong).
You can get more off of it that that lol. If there is enough height you can start another juggle string such as PP7K P+K. 4PKK is the most reliable. Occasionally you can do one K instead of KK and get a little extra height for kasumi to do 4PKK when she lands. This is only on light/ middle weights. I fail on heavyweights lol.
