lol this is my first DOA so I wouldn't know what moves he lost but I like his move set and wind dash moves. Its like he can go in, get out, then get right back in kind of like hitting and running. I just gotta learn some combos and work on those wind dash tactics lol I'm being ultra random when I fight.
I heard 6p+K, P+K, or maybe K, can beat wakeup kicks. I havent' been able to test it though. Ive anything it'd have to be mid wakeup kicks though, other than that I find the launchers to be pretty useless but if you're confident on throwing one out, I'd suggest P+K.
Yeah thanks for the tips. when i genrally do 6P+K i usually go for the P or grab. I did the K once and it hit, but once i saw that it lifted him off the ground i immediately knew it was unsafe. Right now im tryna break down what the good pokes are.
some good ones are 6pk, 3k, 2p, 236p. Throw some pp's also from time to time, this will open them up at some point. 236p might not seem like such a good one at first but it has significant push back. I wouldn't always follow it up with something though. I have a better time punishing unsafe strings or moves with him though, also look into 8pk(burai).
and look into every string that links into the 66(P+K) guard break, it's+1 and turns you into kasumi for one move:
66(P+K)
4(P+K)
PPP(P)
PP6(P)
66P(P)
9P(P)
usually the delay on that will open up the person and they'll take the move straight up for counter damage. Soon enough they'll smarten up(so they think)and block it, then go in for the kill and eat a 9frame jab from you or 11 frame 7k for 72+ dmg. or a 6p for a start on the stun game. There's a lot of moves to start the stun game on though, don't let 6 be your only option, or you'll get held.
Go get the guide. It helps a lot, Murakame. It tells you what's safe & unsafe & it'll help you go about punishing unsafe stuff with your characters, homie.
