She's kinda noob-ish though. Ein is similar to her and is less noob-ish.

Hitomi is a stronger character than Ein, and yes she may be easy to pick up. But it's always fun to try be the best version of her. Same can be said for Kasumi. If you want to use her, don't let the fact that she's easy to use and overused deter you from using her. She's a fun character!

Kasumi is in no way easy to use, especially compared to Hitomi. Spamming 6PP or PPPPP doesn't count. As soon as learn how Hitomi works, there's no challenge to using her.

As soon as you know how any character works, they can be pretty easy to use. I'd place Kasumi as one of the easiest to use in the game, Hitomi is up there too- but she's not easier than Kasumi imo.

How is Kasumi easy? Don't confuse being the fastest character in the game as being one of the easiest. Compared to most characters, Hitomi's pretty darn easy to use.

Oh, yeah Hitomi is easy to use. But she's not as easy as Kasumi. I said that. How is Kasumi hard? All you need with her are her mid punches, recycle into her 46T or 236T. She's got low/mid/high attachments to basically every string. She's got a billion launchers. 8K, 33P, 236P, 9K, 7K, 33K... and the list goes on. Why do you think she's harder than Hitomi? =S

Because she actually requires execution skills to use at a high level. Hitomi is all about being one-big free-cancelling guessing game with an abusive 6T. Compared to Kasumi's teleport tech, nothing is difficult to do with Hitomi.

haha guys they're both great characters. and both characters aren't easy, just because kasumi is flashy doesn't mean she's hard. and just because hitomi is straight forward doesn't mean she's easy. I like them both honestly. now if we're talking about any character being easy it's rig.

The only difficult thing about Kasumi is her 7K 6P+K 9P~K combo... and even then, hardly. Let's just agree to disagree then. Because as somebody who uses every female, I can state a couple females easier to use than Hitomi. And to me Kasumi is the easiest girl to pick up and play. And on a side note, I don't think Rig is easy at all >_>;; but that's just me.

Rig looks easy because all the scrubs do online is buttonmash to victory! Compared to some other FGs, no one in DOA is terribly difficult except maybe Akira. Overall Kasumi is one of the tougher one's to learn properly, however she is also the most straightforward of the ninjas besides Momiji (now that chick is piss easy to use -_-). I think Momiji & Rachel are the only characters that are easier to use than Hitomi.

to me anyone can pick up rig push a few buttons and beat the best of players. to use properly I guess you're right about that he wouldn't be that easy. now for sure momiji/Rachel. I agree 100%

Eh, I don't know. The thing is, Kasumi is easy to use and an amazing character, Hitomi is easy to use, and she's good- but not Kasumi's level. Rachel & Momiji are easy to use, but aren't that great even at top level. I guess I'm looking beyond just how easy the character- but how effective the character is amongst how easy they are to use.

For instance, a mashing Momiji & Rachel- yeah ok. Easy to beat. Hitomi, easy to crush. A mashing Kasumi is hard to read because she has SOOOO much string variety.

I think you're confusing "easy-to-use" with "easy-to-win with at a scrub level". Even with Kasumi's "string variety", she still requires a lot more skill to use effectively than Hitomi at higher levels. The greatest challenge with Hitomi comes from having to always guess correctly to win, since's she probably the biggest human guessing game in DOA5U.

I will also say that Kasumi won't necessarily get anywhere mashing against a competent opponent offline.
