You cant be agressive against Kasumi. Thats the surefire way to get blown up. What you have to do against her is space her out as her performance during spacing is pretty poor.

Agaisnt Ayane you HAVE to be patient assuming the player is good with her. But there is only one really good Ayane on PSN by the name of Aelivia. The rest blow themselves up by rushing down and playing ultra unsafe.

Hayate laughs at you if you try to rush him down because he has 236P as well as 4P+K for Keep out. He also has his SSp and special sidestep to deal with linear pressure so you cant exactly pressure him for long. To beat hayate you must force him to make mistakes and take risks.

Bait out his special sidestep. Force him to come to you with something unsafe during footsies etc. Punish his unsafe strings and moves when he gets desperate for stuns.

Mila has a decent footsie game. You should familiarize yourself with her ranged tools and tactics you can apply with them. I unfortunately dont know anything about what mila can do up close.

As a fellow Mila player when im trying to space out faster characters i rely on 4H+K and 1P. She has lots of tools from a distance and if you get in close just use safeish moves to get them block. if they block.. Well its time for 6T loops and TACKLES!

Tenryuga has some great advice. The ninja's are all mostly unsafe so playing patiently against them and choosing the right time to rush them down is key. Rush them down incorrectly and someone like Ayane will blow you up faster than you can say 'Aw **** I should've have done that'.

As for the best Ayane on PSN I'm certain that Ael isn't the only one. Killer Swagg is pretty solid and I have faced many Ayanes that play her well. As soon as you learn to fight safe with Ayane, her effectiveness skyrockets. But yeah, most Ayanes play like complete ass, like most Hayabusas and Hayates.

I have beaten some Ayane's entirely with throw punishment.

Killer Swagg's Ayane is garbage, lol. I've played him several times in my Team BEST open lobby and even spectated him and he's very inconsistent.

damn Hajin, that was mean loool. He does know a few combos but he can't actually open you up like Ayane is suppose to. I only fought his Ayane once so I can't pass a real judgement

Hmm... he seemed alright, though I admit he does seem to spend most of the time on juggle execution. However, there is also a massive amount of lag when I play him so it is tougher to judge his setups. He's still pretty good for an online Ayane.

There isn't much of what he does I would deem as "pretty good". When you're playing Ayane, you're play is suppose to be consistent. Being able to do just combos doesn't mean you're pretty good. It also amazed me how he claimed to knew I am the very person wrote the guides on Ayane, but doesn't understand how to utilize her toolset or the basic rules of DOA's gameplay.

"All you do is throw throw throw, bullshit." Well, the rules of DOA implies that I should take my guaranteed damage and throw you if you are constantly being at -8 or more on strings or single pokes, lol.
