even disregarding KT, feudal Japan and ancient China are overplayed as fuck when it comes to videogame settings, like why can't we get games set in say....ancient Bosnia or something, sure it's not a common setting but dammit it'd be different and something new

I'll give Ass Creed some slack in that department, since it has taken place some severely underrepresented time periods already (Colonial America, the Carribean, India, France, etc) in fact im surprised it took them this long to have a game based in Japan, how it'll differentiate it'self from all the over games that have you playing a sneaky assassin in feudal Japan I have no clue

Ngl, I was actually waiting for a long time for Ass Ass sin's creed to do a Japan setting, mainly cause I think being an Assassin while fighting ninjas, samurais and shoguns sounds badass. Haven't played a Creed game since III, but Red looks cool. I do see where you're coming from though.
