Just look into the Dead or Alive meme thread. While there is some shitposting there, there are quite a number of gifs showcasing glitches.

I think those glitches only existed during launch. They were patched over time. But there were glitches that only existed in online because they can't replicated in offline, like those hit detection weirdness.

Actually, some glitches could be replicated offline, like the stupid wall detection, pretty evident with Momiji's 6T/4T or Leons Desert Falcon. In addtion, some glitches are never patched.

Yes, they did.

There's glitches from vanilla that still exists today like messed up replays. My favourite bug was when online would just put you and your opponent as Kasumi in C3 regardless of your choice lol

doa5 vanilla was glitchiest for me. bayman calling other male characters 'little girl' in tag, zack saying 'YOUR HEART'S GONNA BE ALL MINE, BABY!' to the wrong characters lmao.

although LR did give us headless kasumi

Best bug (that was unfortunately patched but for the better) was the Leon infinite in 5U where he could perform the desert falcon on the bouncy balls and the explosive fuel infinitely on the show and fuel stage.
