@The_King_Edo. Thanx. I gotta admit, the vid & these posts have re-ignited my interest in that character.
@Randzz: Yes you can low grab Brad wong when he's in the grounded stance, i've done it before.
just be careful with the low sweeps guys... brad wong has a low parry ;)
@THE_WORST_KOKORO: I know what you mean, my issues are Helena & Ayane users generally. To piggyback on what someone else wrote, it's true, I rarely find B Wong users on either system, which I find strange. Wong still has the most moves of all the characters & the handful of times I've tried him he's fun as hell to use, I still wonder why exactly he's so relatively low tier.

When grounded I didn't see you foot sweep him, even one automatically forces him to stand. I don't know if low grabs work on him like they did in DoA4 (3T worked there regardless of character, might've been a glitch TN never fixed though) they also forced him to stand, even though you never got the throw. I'll have to look back at my "notes" to see what else worked on him when grounded, keep in mind that I use Christie... so I don't know how much help that'd be.
Christie: ahahahaha That was absolutely... Helena: AWESOME!! Me: I agree with helena. Christie: Damn you helena. Anyway besides the whole helena christie argument thing there, I gotta say i love your gameplay, You need to Learn to do more of her Heichu mixups, and be a little more agressive, and when an opponent like helena or someone else is trying to pressure you, just get them with 214P and run up to them and start pressuring them, It's all about being patient, Using her heichu mixups, and also pressuring the opponent to where they can't think, Helena isn't the only one with mind games.
As to your general play, I note just a touch of overreaching reads. For example, attempting a low hold at R1F when 6P would have covered the low and other options; 2P similarly. Especially against unfamiliar players, hedged bets are best.

As to Brad; lots of little things to learn. For example, find a move with Kokoro that will strike punish some of his moves that go too far away to throw punish, but can be struck before he gets out of the recovery frames.
ah i see my friend... sorry to confuse the gender, that was a baseless assumption on my part. you did a good job adapting to this brad. once you understood his tactics, you danced around them easily. this is one of those classic replays where you figure out your opponent so well that it makes their actions seem silly. let's play soon!
Yeah I'm not saying he's high or top tier or anything. I agree with that but I am saying that he might be higher on the tier list than his current position (D tier). I think its because there aren't too many legit brads out there so people get confused when they fight him.
Definitely. I agree with you Nestor. I was spending too much time, trying to rush him down with bad habits which got me held. Afterwards I resorted to a reserved play style, this way I could gauge whether or not I should play defensive or offensive so that why you saw my on and off play style... I much walked into the fight blind, so i was limited on my knowledge. (oh and by the way.... I'm a boy)
samurai he is definitely not high tier. the_worst_kokoro did a good job here; but she was a little too respectful in the beginning of the match. brad's 1K and his 1K8 handstand transition are negative frames on normal hit. you have to use 1KK or 1KK8 into handstand if you want a stun on normal hit. & choosing between those two is a gamble. the frame advantage from 1KK will allow you to continue your offensive, but the handstand transition takes long enough that your opponent will be nearly out of stun by the time you enter it (even on the slowest stagger escape). going into handstand stance in this situation is really only advantageous if you are certain the opponent will try to land a strike immediately--- if the attack's startup is long enough, brad can land a decent stun with a counter or hi-counter handstand kick.

hope this helps somewhat. but no, brad is absolutely not high tier.
Brad seems to be causing trouble for a lot of people, including myself which leads me to believe he's higher on the tier list. Btw, love your choice of music. VF2 Akira Ride the Tiger theme is the best.
