If you like Adventure Time you should definitely watch Bravest Warriors series on youtube it's hilarious. Think of A.T. but without the restrictions of a network to let them do what they want. XD

So I was just eating a mini chocolate donut (I've been wanting them lately ever since @Pink Nitro kept talking about them. XD) and I just thought about something, a "vision" if you will:
DOA2 Kasumi Alpha - DOA5U Phase 4
DOA2 Tengu - DOA5U tengu like woman
DOA3 Helena + Lorelei - DOA5U Marie Rose + Lorelei (this one's more of a stretch. lol XD)
and then I thought about the ending of DOAD as well as DOA5U:
DOA3 Genra - DOA5U Donovan w/ Genra's mask + modified moveset.
With the exception of Marie Rose I can see this pattern of TN taking past DOA bosses/ideas and tweaking them in order to make them new fighters on the roster.

Hey, you could be really on something, but by the way maybe for this pattern we could expect more a Raidou than a Genra (the DoA1 boss is more popular and would be more fitting for Donovan to get a mix of fighting styles from all the roster).
But in all this... where is the place for Irene?! I need at least of her if I can't get back the good old Tengu! So better for you to find a more good pattern.. XD

that has nothing to due with what DLC characters are coming. Marie was made for Japanese arcades, phase 4 was already planned, ms tengu was made because TN was sick of the requests.

By the way I thought about the hint of Donovan related with the Hajinmon clan, so his parallel with Genra could really fit.

thats because original characters are a pain in the ass to do. and why do people keep comparing phase 4 to alpha?

Phase-4 is the first human clone of Kasumi to be playable in the game after Kasumi Alpha, with same outfits and both with a moveset based on Kasumi for the most.
No one is saying that they aren't different characters (for movesets, personalities and storywise), but appear logical to compare them IMO.

For the same reason both are compared to Kasumi. Latter are just slight variations of former.

Because of this:
lol. XD Jokes aside, because it's the same concept of a Kasumi clone (and I mean a real clone, not Alpha-152 clone) with an altered moveset that we saw in Dimensions. She's just been updated to become relevant in 5U. And rather than give her older moves (which is what DOAD did) TN has given her flashy new moves.

I don't think so because the hair of the masked fighter seems to be blue/dark purple for being Momiji. But otherwise this would be the greatest deception aka troll ever done XD
