[template=doa3-character-select]selected=bass[/template] [template=text-box-h2]title=Story | align=left[/template] Bass is and undefeated bad guy professional wrestler. Although Bass Armstrong has already retired from his job, he enters DOA to stop his daughter Tina from winning the tournament. Bass loves his daughter very much, but he has always wanted Tina to become a professional wrestler. Hearing that Tina now wants to be an actress, he is extremely upset. "Hey, I don't remember allowing you to become a model... Okay, young lady, you're grounded!" [template=text-box-h2]title=Gameplay | align=left[/template] [URL='https://www.freestepdodge.com/wiki/frame-data-doa3-bass/']Movelist and frame data[/URL] Bass is the character with the slowest attack speed in the game, but makes up for it by being able to dish out high amounts of throw punish damage, having access to strong catch throws, and a powerful vortex after knocking opponents down. His :4::F+P: is one of the strongest throw-punishes in the game, though you have to be mindful of your positioning when using it. Being too close to a wall will give you his back-to-wall throw instead, and if the opponent's back is to a wall you will have to use alternate juggles that doesn't wall-splat early. Most times he gets a knockdown, he is able to follow it up with his :2::F+P: ground throw, which forces you into a 50/50 guess situation between his :3::3::P: launcher and :426::F+P: catch throw. Both of these moves lets him do another pickup and start the vortex over again. A major drawback for the character is that one of his best and fastest moves, the :P+K: Hell Stab, is unsafe on block.
