[FONT=arial]Hitomi was born and raised in germany her entire life by her Karate instructor father and japanese mother.  At an early age she took on the teachings of karate under her father's tutelage.  After the events pertaining in the first DOA tournament Hitomi and her father discovered Hayate in the German Black Forest.  She took Hayate home and nursed him back to health.  Unfortunately Hayate could not remember his name so Hitomi called him "Ein."  For about a year Ein learned Karate alongside Hitomi and they formed a close friendship.  Ein unfortunately left upon the announcement of the 2nd DOA tournament.[/FONT]

[FONT=arial]About a year later Hitomi then leaves her father's dojo to test her own skills in the 3rd DOA tournament.  During the tournament, Hitomi faces off against Jann Lee and trade fighting philosphies from their respected martial arts.  Hitomi also befriends Tina in the tournament.  Tina gloats to Hitomi about her future plans after the tournament if she won.  Hitomi eventually made it to 3rd place in the tournament having lost to either Gen Fu or Zack.[/FONT]

[FONT=arial]Hitomi returned home to her Father's Dojo.  Upon her return her father acknowldged her karate skill and allowed her to graduate from the dojo.  Unfortunately she did not leave the dojo for long.  Her father became ill and could not run the family dojo.  His dojo came under heafty financial trouble and Hitomi enetered the 4th DOA tournament hoping the prize money will save everything.  Hitomi managed to have a couple of odd fights during the tournament.  She fought Lei fang over a head of lettuce and won.  Hitomi also fought Jann lee again but his time over Dragon Kicking a T-Rex that was about to eat her.[/FONT]

[FONT=arial]Hitomi meet up with Hayate and asked him to come home with her to save the Dojo.  However Hayate couldn't because he was on a mission.  However Hayate told Hitomi that if she defeated him he would return.  It is unknown if Hitomi won and there is no indication that if she did that Hayate returned with her after the DOATEC tri tower assault.[/FONT]

[FONT=arial][u]Character Links[/u][/FONT]

[FONT=arial]Hitomi's attitude is very warm and friendly.  She is however very energenic and hard headed sometimes.  This has caused her to start fights over miniscual things like fighting with Lei Fang over a head of lettuce.  It is unknown if Lei Fang and Hitomi have remained rivals to this day.[/FONT]

[FONT=arial]One of the first opponents that left a lasting impact on  Hitomi was Jann Lee.  The two first met in the 3rd DOA tournament and both hold great respect for one another due to similiar philosphies despite different fighting styles.[/FONT]

[FONT=arial]The one person who shared a close connection with Himoti was Ein(Hayate).  Both have spent alot of time together as friends and both have great respect for each other.  Ein is always grateful that Hitomi and her father found him and nursed him back to health.  Even in the 4th DOA tournment when Hitomi calls him Ein, Hayate does not correct her.  He was even torn between his duty and wanting to help Hitomi save her dojo.[/FONT]
