Lisa is an enigma is the DOA universe. For some time she has worked for DOATEC as one of their lead scientists. She was the head scientists for Project Epsilon which was suppose to brainwash Hayate, whom was captured, and turn him into a super soldier. However for unknown reasons, Lisa saved and released Hayate.
What else isn't clear is that Lisa is also a Lucha Libre Wrestler and a friend/ally/rival of Tina Armstrong. In fact Lisa puts on a mask and dons the identity of La Mariposa to challenge Tina in the 4th DOA tournament.
During her time in the 4th tournament Lisa runs into Hayate and reveals to him it was her who lured the Ninja's Clan into attacking DOATEC. She also tells this to Helena and evens mentions about the super Soldier Alpha 152. Whether she did this for personal gains is unclear.
After the conclusion of the tournament Lisa, as La Mariposa, teams up with Tina Armstrong in a tag team match. During the match La Mariposa's true identity is revealed to everyone as her mask it pulled off.

Aside from Tina, Lisa has little to no contact with anyone aside from maybe Hayate. With Hayate, she was incharge of his brainwashing for his innitiation into Project Epsilon. However she releases him ruining and ending the super soldier project.
Lisa's connection with Tina is mutual. They both grew up together as friends and ended up being tag partners in the ring after being reaquinted in the 4th DOA tournament.
