MK1 keeps buffing my secondaries to the moon and yet my main girl Kitana hasn't budged in viability since launch, such injustice :/

Majority of their reviews at the time were very bias, especially towards certain franchises. GamePro and EGM were better magazines before they went out of print/commission.

I see, I still liked them since early on when I was in 3rd to 5th grade, the reviews were varied and I'd reread for hours about my fave games. I grew out of it in high school, but I hope I could join a future magazine like that down the line!

Sad to see Gameinformer go, but such is the fate of print media in an increasingly digital world, though i;ll always be thankful for it back in the pre internet days when your only source for videogame news and releases were magazines like Gameinformer, EGM, ODCM, Xbox magazine and the like

i think that the overly simplification of HUD in games and overall in media made it bland in almost evey aspect. To me is like what DVD's easter eggs and technical tricks allowed pretty interesting and unique experiences compared to the dull/standard Blu-Ray format.
After saying that, DOA4 freaking rules.

Its mainly a fighting game nature to have content in 1 game, and never bringing them back for next game (you might be lucky for another release). Like Tekken Ball was introduced in Tekken 3, and was never brought back from Tekken Tag Tournament to Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (PS3/360 versions) plus Tekken 7, the times the mode was back was Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition & Tekken 8.

What I know for Tag Mode is they decided not to bring it back for DOA6 is due to balance issue.

to this day I laugh seeing how Honoka and Marie Rose had to get their ages specified in their debut DOA5 trailers, that shit will never not be funny

it's like Koei Tecmo was like "hey mainstream audiences! just wanna let y'all know, they're legal! no weirdness going on here!" nvm that Kasumi and Ayane were both underage (at least in America) when they had their jigglies out, but that was back in the day when their were alot less eyes on DOA so they could get away with it lol

OKAY I finally got CXBXR to work and guess what it will let me play in mini screen mode but in big screen mode??? NOOOOO the DISC IS DIRTY in full screen mode. I swear to god BS like this is why nobody does emulators.

Xbox emulation is well-known to be ass cheeks unfortunately. Even X360 emulation is better and that's the next generation LOL
