The canon of MK10 is so fucked anyway when the writers decided that fucking Sindel should single-handedly wipe-out almost the entire roster.

Except Liu Kang, who was killed by Sir Fuck-up, aka: Raiden.

Plus they killed all the good guys so they gotta pad the cast. Though probably just gonna be like injustice, where they are still playable but c2 is zombie for story mode.

Nitara + Frost = Day one buy for me

Nitara should be in since the game will most likely be be between MK4-Deadly Alliance (or MK4-MK Deception). Hopefully it stays 2.5d, she'd probably be more fun then

Nitara has an eye patch which helps.

Also another silver lining. All the normal women being ugly to begin with makes Sheeva and Mileena look beautiful in comparison. So those two get something out of it.

I doubt they'll do anything with it but Nitaras wings and other vampiric powers could be make for interesting mechanics.

at that point i just really wanted to retire from the game but i literally have every mortal kombat game so i kinda hope mk9 was a solo fuck up and they get the plot right

I don't mind about the Sindel bit but I don't like facing Shao Kahn with Raiden just because he accidentally fried Liu Kang's inside with his static shocks. I literally lost 20 times with him on the last part of the story mode alone.

I'm honestly drained out of ideas for Halloween since the Halloween DLCs mostly covered every costume that most Trick or Treaters would wear for the event (princess, maid, viking, gladiator, vampire, mummy, witch, succubus/incubus, fairy, samurai, etc.).

My issue with it is that they know the first one was a disaster with rigged voting and even one entry got sabotaged yet they're doing it again without us knowing if anything from the last contest is going to make it into the game.

Why we don't begin to ask them to move the contest on another system? On FB I posted my idea to realize something similar to what done for the vote about the DoA pop idol team outfits to release with the game (a Japan only vote that was made on a website), but one voice alone can't do enough.

Don't get me wrong I am glad to hear there's another contest but dropping a hint right now while we're all awaiting the new character reveal is anti-climatic.

But remember that the announcement fro a new character actually should be a news only for the Japanese fandom, just as the news of this contest should be reserved only for the Western one. But I know that it's not an excuse because nowadays all the fans are able to know everything officially announcend.
