lol I get that Gen Fu had balance issues, but I still think original characters should take priority over guest/dlc characters. And this is coming from someone that LOVED playing Spartan and miss having that character.

Shimbori gave reasons why they aren’t in, so why should they still take place over certain characters when even the producer don’t see why they should be in the base roster? I said it before Leon, Ein and Gen fu are filler characters and don’t add any value to the base roster.
I love Naotora just as much as I do Kasumi but I'm not crying or anything if she's never returning xD plus I don't think she would fit in DOA6 tbh, the game seems a bit too dark for her with all the bruising and such
Well Nyo and Phase are technically newcomers so it makes sense imo, plus Gen doesn't really have a plot anymore and Leon as well but he'll probably return down the line

Shimbori basically said Gen fu is useless in that quote. Also, Ein shouldn’t have been playable since DOA3 imo.

You know you’ve got yourself some cancer fans when they need to make a video using MikuMikuDance (a free animation software with one of the most cancerous fanbases out there) and spam it in your tweets. Add them being Kpop fans (another trashy ass fandom) to the mix and the fact that its Twitter™ and you’ve got yourself doomed until you do what they want you to do. And then they’ll even have the guts to say it was all “thanks to them” like what happened with the Anti-SJW wankers that spammed the tweets and even this forum with that Change.org petition, men who now think they are the real DOA fans because they “saved” the game from falling into the dark SJW-lords hands lmaoo

Genfu and Ein doesn't make sense for story purpose. Leon, could have it, but they're too lazy to give him a proper plot aside from Lauren. In fact, he didn't win any DOA tournament, so he still has a promise to achieve.
Yes, because the Sengoku era was all candies and fun xD Honoka is also cheerful and air head, and she's in, so... But yeah, I prefer Lianshi, Zenji or Wang Yuanji from DW than her.
I don't think Honoka really fits in DOA6 either, I just didn't mention her since I don't like her no more xD Naotora just doesn't seem like she would fit since I can't picture her with bruises, that and she's not really relevant to the plot either, if anything she'd be DLC but I dont think she'll make it in at all tbh

I don't think a character has to be part of the story to be in the base roster, but again I fully understand why they are not and I'm not arguing they should be. My one and only point was that if any type of guest/legacy character were to be in the base roster it should be older/original characters first before guest characters. None of this matters though. We already pretty much know the complete roster.

Dffdkfsfofjofifjsi i went backwards through the pages and as soon as i read the words "tweet" "momiji" and "stupid dance" I KNEW it was this damn video!!! The animation isn't even that good anyways, it looks like toy story 1 test footage, plus the sweat stage looks like papier-mache thanks to the crap lighting. if they were going to spam a MMD video, at least learn how to use the program first! And they swear they killed it too!
also the reason why the video is being spammed is because at least 70% of DOA Twitter consists of kpop stans. That contributes to it a LOT because kpop stan twitter is notorious for being annoying when it comes to sh!t they like. i love me some red velvet and blackpink but the fans stay out of control lol!
If someone's not buying DOA6 because of one character, chances are they probably were planning on playing it for like 2 weeks then go back to DOAX3. good riddance!!!

Eh its a fan video. I don't think its terrible, though I do think its in bad taste. People claim to care about a character, but then put her in a bikini in a boxing stage and dancing/singing. Pretty out of character for a loyal kunoichi to Ryu.
I love me some EXID and MissA but these K-Pop stand are annoying. Especially those BTS fan girls, they’re honestly worse than the JB fans back then. People need to stop bitching about Momiji, can’t wait until the game is released so they will finally shut up.

My favorite part is how there’s people in those replies posting screencaptures of their PS Store cart with DOA6 on it and then pics of Momiji and Rachel followed by a “add them or no buy
“ written on their tweets like omg yes love, I’m pretty sure TN is shitting on their pants after such a tremendous threat. You and 3 other people won’t buy DOA6? Damn, the game’s doomed.
Not sure why people waste their time complaining on social media especially since tn stated momiji has chances on being dlc providing if the game sells alot and stay active to warrant dlc content. as for those people that are threatening to boycott doa6 for not having momiji you are only ensuring that she will not be in. bottom line want her support the game and buy it and tell your friends to buy it. who knows if the game stays active we may even see leon, ein, genfu and other deconfirmed characters cough misaki cough
