Is it just me, or do the VV girls always have a doe eyed appearance with that small smirk/blank face? I swear they all look the same with the tiniest features changed up. I can't speak on their personalities since I haven't read up on that.

They can't have a personality. Having an actual personality would be anathema to otaku. lol

They all have the same “personality”, which is obsessive and submissive love for the Owner. It’s just how it is expressed that changes. Kanna is more like what Marie should have been based on her marketing as a “Lil’ Devil”, Sayuri is the nurturing onee-chan, Tamaki is the sexually aggressive onee-chan, Nagisa is a very generic tsundere, etc. So they just add an anime archetype on top of it.
