Edit: Did a little more digging. According to someone from NeoGAF, they saw it on /v/ and the poster claimed that it came from 2ch. They say it's probably fake as well.

With February around the corner, Team Ninja is going to have to spill the beans on the new characters eventually. All we is know is: "the new female character, saying she’ll be the “biggest” of all the characters thus far" and that "the other new character will meet fan expectations, and that he or she will have a similar role to Nyotengu." I need more information than that. What worried me is TN using "he or she" for the other character. I brand new male would be ideal and for some reason, I feel like it'll be Donovan. I mean, he always has a system voice and he's the main antagonist in the series, so might as well make him the mimic character in the vein of Raidou.

Or give him Genra's moveset which doesn't mimic other characters moves and is actually really fun to use.

And they knew people would want Bankotsubo back...but the issue is that the demand was smaller than the people who actually played the game or even WANTED him back. Thus, Nyotengu was born. Since they specifically stated in the case of a male, another female is NOT the case if they bring back either Genra's or Raidou's moveset back(and if they girly both of them...wouldn't you just end up with Ayane anyway?)
