According to the latest Twitter post of Shoryuken, we'll get some fresh news in the upcoming FAMITSU magazine.

If the new characters will be revealed now, maybe there is a chance that the demo version of 5LR at TFC will see them playable.

Which means we'll see scans tomorrow night or Thursday morning at the latest. All this is assuming that someone in japan gives enough of a crap to post doa scans.

If I remember correctly, Marie Rose was first seen on Famitsu, so the chances are high, that we'll get some reveals (also in therms of stages and stuff). =)

By the way it's not a rare practice for the fighting games to reveal their new entries through Famitsu, and actually Marie Rose is not the only case (for example I remember with certainty that at least Gen Fu and Pai's presence in DoA5 was revealed through the magazine).
It's really a great news, honestly I wasn't expecting so soon their revelation: after all I believe that Mr. Wah was right about the charas being revealed before TFC for making them playable there.

Until the stress post revelation as: this character sucks, when we will see them in action, where is my beloved "XY"? etc.. etc.. (I'm joking people, actually I'm teasing even myself XD)
Well.. Mila, Nyotengu, Helena/Lisa too, Lei Fang/Zack, Rig/Christie as well for sure.. and most of the characters actually.
A famitsu scan means a trailer at the end of the week in general.

@pachincko was the one who updated us with the famitsu scan of Nyo as well as some other udpates in the past so hopefully he comes back to FSD. XD
Wait...I highly doubt, we will see yet another trailer, just 3 weeks after the first one. XD
As DOA players we all pretty much worship Famitsu, I'm going to hold my hype down till I can see than actual scans though could be jiggle physic BS could be new characters

I know this is a weekly (and a montly) magazine, but I cannot find in the source something stating that we'll have more news about the characters in the upcoming Famitsu.
What I read is that "this week Famitsu" (probably last week's edition) teased 2 new characters, something we already know (remember the interview about the "black hair" thing).
I don't want to get my hopes high for nothing.
Where does it say THIS Friday's edition will have something new about DOA ? It might be my grammar or something I didn't get. Please quote it for me!

You're right @KwonJigglypuff it's just saying that there will be 2 more characters (which isn't news to us but to people who didn't watch the TSH vids or go on FSD/World they wouldn't know).

Could be any Wednesday in October (1, 8, 15, 22, 29), or November (5, 12, 19, etc.)... just like Marie (Wed 11th of November) and Nyo (Wed 4th of June) for instance.
Let's be patient it will probably happen when we won't expect it. From now on, every Wednesdays, we should gather and pray.

I agree with @KwonJigglypuff, I believe that we ended to be got from the excitement for the close news without properly read the article of shoryuken. Very likely Famitsu will report its interview to Hayashi and reportage on DoA5LR from TGS, but without any further infos.

What if the new female character is Vanessa from VF remember she doesn't have black hair and TN never specify what race (but we all know it's going to be a white or Asian female or a mix of both lol) and the new male fighter is an exclusive fighter for each system, but both have the same move set lol. XBOX One gets Marcus Fenix and the PS4 gets Nathan Drake, and both have the same moves... yeah would be lame lol. I'm probably totally wrong of course.
Sounds like it's most likely going to be Irene, but honestly I would hope they jump to another ethnicity like Mexican, Brazilian, Hawaiian or another black female for instance. Maybe for DOA6, but Harada would do that before Hayashi lol
Edit: Maybe it's a mutated or more powerful version of Lisa because of the lab closing down, and they make her a boss character=Lame
