    This Evo Japan weekend is a moment of truth. Will we see a new VF reveal? Will Akuma Matata rule the Pride Lands that is SF6? Will Granny Mai be revealed for COTW? And finally, will we get a surprise reveal of a DOA Master Collection, if not a new DOA fighting game?

    @Radiance honestly. Expecting a new DOA would be crazy. Even if they’d announce it, it probably would’ve an updated Venus vacation game.

    As much as I'd love a new DOA game to get announced, it's not likely to happen. Tokyo Games Show or better yet in more of a dream world: a Microsoft Direct or Sony Direct would be a better place to announce a new DOA game. An FGC event would actually be unfavourable because the FGC, in all their class, would likely just boo it. (e.g Killer Instinct @ EVO 2014).

    DOA6 being announced right at the start of E3 2018 was a good move. Multiple days to describe the game to interviewers. KT just bungled the marketing hard. A DOA7 needs to nail the marketing.

    A heads up that there's no stream planned on my end tomorrow for DOA6. But I'll resume my erratic nightly schedule on Wednesday. So far, I'm enjoying my time as a noob streamer.

    Nobody liked Luke the day he was released as SF5's final DLC character. At least Luke isn't as bad as Patroklos from SC5 (though nobody can top that character for most unlikable protagonist in gaming history) to be fair.

    I've finally seen Tekken 8's story in its entirety, and it was worth the pizza and popcorn. It wasn't everything I predicted and hoped, but I still loved it.

    Now I can finally stop talking about the game.

    Never read/watched hunterxhunter but I did enjoy Marvel 3 ( DNF duel was kinda meh... but I suspect that was more Arcsys than Eighting). Regardless ill be keeping my eye on this one

    Compared to Tekken 7, Tekken 8's cinematic story mode is filled with "Shimbori-isms" seen in DOA5, and it shows. It's gonna be fun picking apart every shot for comparison.

    After the latest news regarding Tekken 8, I should stay away from the social apps for a while for my own sanity. The best way to contact me for now is via email or Steam for those who have it. I also have Discord, but fair warning, I rarely use it.

    How the fuck does Sega send out flyers to fighting game content creators, knowing that they're not showing VF6? That really pisses me off. Along with Ben Starr getting snubbed for best voice acting, this killed my excitement for the Game Awards.

    Maybe someone at Sega wanting to do some trolling with those fighting game content creators, promise them something interesting hoping there is a VF6 then later show a trailer which doesn't even show Virtua Fighter. Which will equal salt for people who want a new VF and have a good laugh.

    I like Ben Starr, but this is Neil Newborn here. If he wasn't there Ben Starr would of taken it for sure.

    However I am rather confused of the salt considering his work on Astarion was extremely well done in Baldur's Gate. Ben Starr legit had tough competition here. I sat there for a few minutes on who to pick.

    I can't believe I'm saying this, but of all the characters backstories in Tekken 8 so far, I never thought I'd actually be most excited for the story direction they're taking Feng Wei, of all people.
