    actually played DOA6 for the first time in a long time, but I seemed to only get matched up with the "I've been playing the same character since 2019 yet im still trash with them" type players, so it was quite boring :/

    Dusting off my Wu-Ruixiang to prep for the Samsho(2019) rollback update, not that better netcode is gonna up my chances vs all the SNK boomers that dominate the game but still...should be fun

    Looks like the new Armor Core will be designed to be "more accessible for modern audiences"; while that phrase normally makes my eyes roll, this is one of the few times I'm ok with it. Armor Core is fun and all but its often too esoteric for its own good

    If they control like in For Answer then I'll be okay with that. For Answer has been my favorite one so far control-wise, very newcomer friendly but still had its complications.

    Never played For Answer, and I only dabbled a bit in V, so I'm not too familiar with the changes in the latest games, I just remember the early games being complicated af with customization out the wazoo, but im pretty sure that's part of the appeal

    So many Japanese devs into it for some reason.. especially Sega ones. Just this week, news of Yu Suzuki and Ohji Hiroi (Sakura Wars) getting into it too now, smh...

    I think it's cause western devs understand how unpopular NFT's are so even they want to, they might be hesitant to attach themselves to such a practice

    meanwhile in Japan where unhinged gamer rage is alot less common thanks to a culture of politeness,i guess that devs there aren't as aware of the consensus towards NFTs/Blockchains, but that's Japan for ya, 10 years behind everyone else lol

    i'll be dammed, they actually added Pot of Greed to the Genshin TCG, you'd think after 17 yrs on the banlist and years of jokes no TCG in it's right mind would add a card that powerful to it's decklist :/

    I've heard a couple of people saying here and there that it might not be as strong of a card as most people think it is but I haven't gotten to the point of seeing it for myself since I'd like to do TCG after completing the Sumeru archon quest which might take a little bit on one account and quite a lot on the other. Well, we got some good memes out of it for a couple of days if nothing else.

    New Armor Core game? glad to see Fromsoft remember that it has other franchises besides Dark Souls
    Also Baldurs Gate 3? I wasn't even aware there was a Baldurs Gate 2, so that was a surprise

    kinda disappointing that Bayo 3 gives you no reward for completing the higher difficulties or achieving pure platinum rankings, you can literally unlock everything from a single normal mode playthrough, it's convenient, but i dun like it :/

    I finished it the other day. Was ehhhhhhhhh but it's not at all bad and the combat is iffy. I'll let you play it out so that you can take on the experience yourself.

    For anyone who's beaten Master Ninja on both vanilla NG2 and NG2S, would you say one is harder than the other or that they're both equally as hard?

    @Force_of_Nature Yeah xD. Funny enough, the last time I played OGNG2 was the completion of MN. I was pretty happy about completing OGNG2 MN because you not only get an outfit, but you also get an exclusive Xbox avatar for doing it on Xbox 360. UT abuse, animation invincibility in UT was my cheese to victory lololololol, was both stressful due to game instability but it was super fun etc.

    So if I really want to test my mettle I should just go for MN on vanilla NG2, got it,

    it's funny, after beating MN in NG2 once 10 years ago I said i would NEVER touch that mode again with all of it's bullshit, but i've been craving borderline unfair difficulty modes lately, and what better way to scratch that itch by playing a broken and unfinished mess like NG2 lol

    Seems that every year, a lot of fatalities from vehicle related incidents sky rocket in the world of anime. Unfortunately, no one told them to look both ways before crossing the street! Victims have been sent to another world either Celestia or the Netherworld as penguins that can be used as explosives when thrown on impact.

    while it's way too early to speculate about this DOA reboot, fingers crossed they take this opportunity to fix some fundamental fuckery that's been plaguing this series for years, as opposed to just remaking the same ol' tosh with prettier graphics

    So, now that the game has been out for a while seems like it ended up being pretty bad. I hate that I pretty much called it with just the trailers alone.

    Meh, its aight. I did enjoy it though I just wish the combat felt more fluid. It took them a while to patch the Switch version, where you were pretty much stuck in attacking in one direction regardless if you locked on or not. It was surprisingly pretty challenging.

    Ngl difficulty spikes in D3 games irk me, its like whole time you're enjoying some chill fanservice anime game you can pretty much play with your brain turned off and then bam, sudden difficulty increase and now; you gotta engage with mechanics, you gotta watch for enemy tells, you got be mindful of your health, like with? SGZH did it, Onechambara did it, multiple d3 games do it and its annoying every time :/

    I think it's because too many of the evolved forms have them stand up on their hind legs. Ironically, there's a trend of artists drawing them with them standing on all fours. I've even seen some vtubers playing the game that keep saying "don't stand up, don't stand up" when their pokemon evolve, lmao.

    honestly there are plenty of pokemon that are bipedal that look fine, (Charizard, Typhlosion, Raichu, Haunter), it's just the one's that are bipedal and have way too many human characteristics is when things get weird (Lopunny, Incineroar, Mawile)

    hell I even went with Fuecoco in Scarlet/Violet mostly cause it's the only starter who's final evolution isn't complete anthropomorphic nightmare fuel

    Given TN's track record on how they handle most of their games I'd say that NG might have a chance to do well in the near future, DOA on the other hand, well, they might double down on certain aspects of the series that they introduced around/after 5 Last Round, which I feel might end up polarizing the fanbase even further but we'll see, too soon to even speculate about these "reboots".
