    yeah DOA5U times I think were the funnest. I miss some of the peeps here that used to frequent the forum. Chapstick, Yurlungur, Nereus, Tenryuga, Hazard, Renderingstar, Panicitstylor, etc. just to name a few.

    Same here, it was just a more fun environment to be around. Back then DOA was getting regular updates, tournaments were fun to watch, the forum was crowded and there was always something fun to talk about.
    With DOA6 I feel like there’s nothing to talk about because nobody is even playing it.

    As far as the forum goes, it feels pretty much like a classroom where there are certain cliques.

    I am starting to relate to women more, lately I’ve been getting harassed by men on the street, even getting followed. It makes me feel so uncomfortable.

    Yeah, so much has happened in the past 2 months on a personal level but all around the world as well, this year is already shaping up to be one my worst ones in a long time and we're so far away from the end of it. Let's hope that things are going to slowly but steadily get better.

    Sorry to hear about that. Life can be rough and it can stay that way for such a long time that even trying to be somewhat positive about things happening around us can be quite challenging. We can only move forward to see what life has in its store and believe that things get better with time.

    Honestly, some of these new DOAX girls actually look decent, like Nanami for example. I could see her in the fighting series. I just wish TN or whoever designs these characters, put more of that effort into the fighting characters.

    I feel like fighting game these days are disappointing. I really hope the fighting game genre makes a proper comeback. Especially games like DOA and MK.

    I get you, there's not much to fighting games these days outside of online. There are some fighting games where labbing is quite fun but it can be time consuming and there aren't that many fighting games of that kind, only a few, hence why it is easier imo to be burnt out of them or even dislike them. Its ok if you don't feel like playing any of them for a while.

    I love playing fighting games actually, it’s just that everything these days is so focused on online and being part of a community, rather than fighting games actually being fun to play. I get games have to be balanced for competitive purposes, but the fun element shouldn’t be looked over.

    This week at my job was emotionally stressful. 3 patients passed away because of their dementia and body giving up on life basically. Seeing family getting so upset and grieving really breaks my heart.

    Why is there so much buzz around this stupid covid vaccine? People really depend on it as if it cured/protects people from covid. 2 years and 3 vaccines further and we’re still in the pandemic with even bigger numbers than before. We could blame the unvaccinated, but the truth is the vaccines clearly don’t do their job properly.

    From your comment I thought you were in the US, but I double-checked and your in The Netherlands. Here in Canada things are actually going mostly right, we just suck collectively as a world to vaccinate the people who need it most and can't get them and instead we keep trying to coerce the few holdouts who will never change their minds.

    Ah, a nurse? Thank you for your service. Everyone on the front lines of this thing have been having it really tough for too long now. Developed nations haven't done a good enough job working together to get vaccines to places in the world that are far too behind, so unfortunately a worse variant was inevitable... :/
