    Got around to watching the MK movie. Great fight scenes; most other interactions did not seem fluid. Felt like a dark super hero film instead of MK. I never hated Liu Kang and Kung Lao so much. Very much enjoyed Scorpion and Sub-Zero's feud.

    Have yet to see the new MK movie, but apparently Cole is the most useless new character of all time. They could have just saved Lewis Tan for the role of Bi Han's brother as the new Sub Zero in the next film.

    apparently this MK movie is the first of a 4 movie deal, which explains alot of the baffling decisions made, fingers crossed Cole gets to kick some ass in the next installments

    Sony blocking Resident Evil village from being on xbox game pass lol. Way to be anti-consumer by limiting ways to purchase a product during a pandemic.

    That pretty much sums up the difference between the PS5 handling and XSX handling. Sony is being anti-consumer with the PS5 whereas Microsoft is being more pro-consumer with the XSX.

    It's almost like Sony views the Xbox as a threat...

    So why is Hitomi a mediocre character again? Her mixup's are not that strong I admit, but her buttons are good. Good fundamentals will carry a Hitomi player. She can mount pressure and apply a 50/50's in her favor.

    Hitomi's kit emphasizes neutral fundamentals. Most players, including most Hitomi mains, have garbage neutral, so they think the character is bad.

    Hitomi's just "okay" because she's not brain dead like i9 characters. She's a good character that just requires players to know what tf they're doing. Unfortunately, like Brute said, most players do not have good neutral fundamentals which is why she gets viewed as "bad, or not good".

    9is aren't braindead tbh, take away their neutral jab and their tools still are stronger, and there are characters who aren't 9is who are still just as strong if not stronger. And that's honestly how most characters in 6 are, I never get why people say some like Leifang or Marie or Honoka are bad when they just require knowledge. Hitomi is like that too, but tbh her general frames are a mess imo

    Not even going to bother caring for any future DoA announcements if the game will not be done justice. We were hyped for every DOA6 patch and the game just got worse over time.

    Ugh Rose's SFV story is basically foreshadowing SFVI will be another MK9 where Raiden resets the timeline. SF story seems incapable of moving past 3rd Strike.

    I don't want to go back in time too, even though Capcom screwed up Alpha 3's storyline by removing Charlie/Guile's portion since now Charlie died during Alpha 2.

    I don't think that'll really be the case, I think it's more a what if scenario but if it will happen that way, it'd make sense since idk if Capcom will be able to really do anything to move the series forward after Gill and the Illuminati are defeated.

    People are talking about it's hard going back to playing DoA5 because it's outdated. The Marvel community played MVC2 for how long? Japan has kept VF5 alive since the game launched, and the Smash community has been playing Melee competitively forever....
