It would be sick to see Ryu in a Mortal Kombat game where he'd be able to use his Dragon Sword and his Ninpo, imagine how crazy his fatal blow and fatality could be. Too bad that it won't happen ever, chances for that are -100 to 0%.
Damn, Kamiya literally told people to "reset and forget" about Bayo 3 for the time being. At this point in time you have to wonder if that game will come out on the Switch in the next 2-3 years or if it'll even come out at all in the near future.
Anre's theme is befitting of someone who is the leader/first member of the Eternals thats for sure. Also, from the few tech videos I've seen of him, he seems strong, might even be the best character in the game right now but I'll have to try him out myself to see how good he actually is.
Were any of you so bored at your workplace that you started thinking about doing certain things in any videogame? Like, yesterday I thought about BBTag stuff during work, especially combos that I'm usually doing and set-ups that I want to lab with Izayoi/Yumi.
Like many others, I thought that Wagner in UNIST(CLR) is a character that does decent damage and has access to good tools against pretty much every character....until I've seen Redblade play with her. She hurts man, especially with Veil Off on, if she gets a hit on you say goodbye to 60% of your hp most probably.
Wow, Riot did the impossible, they made the client even worse than what it was back when I quit League last year's March. Some people are joking about the team that handles the coding/client related stuff and that the music/art team should be the one handling the client once they've learned how to given how good their music and art is but if I need to be brutally honest, we might be better off doing that.
Some people are already getting tight about the lack of news about a Blazblue fighting game during the stream in which the Dark War mobile game was presented (also, shit, coming next month? Thought it was forgotten and not developed at all a long time ago) and I'm like, man, we're not even halfway done with the first month of 2021, chill.
Why some games have to limit your accessibility to some of the online modes of the game. On GBFVS you have to play a couple of ranked matches in order to be able to access lobby and room matches and iirc there was a game where you had to do some parts of the story to be able to access the online mode of the game and I'm sitting here like: Why is this a thing?
While I know that the Neptunia osts are pretty good, I feel that Megadimension Neptunia VII's ost knocks it out of the park, the battle themes especially, they're super solid. I'd be surprised they'll improve on it further with the game that'll act as a sequel to VII (since they're doing a lot of spin-offs and enhanced port of older games) but who knows when they'll be making one, no information at all about that.
Happy New Year everyone! 2020 was an ok year for me, got a couple of things going for me in that year and around the end of it I finally had goals that I'd like to work towards in 2021 but I do understand that 2020 for most was a very bad year. I hope that 2021 brings better or even good for all of us.
So about the Open Series tournaments, wonder if it'd be a problem if I sign in using an English/UK PSN even though I'm not from there, would it lead to me getting DQ'd from the tournament, maybe even my PSN account getting banned permanently? I'm thinking of entering online tournaments in the next year when I can.
I find it weird that you can purchase dlc on Steam and keep it in your inventory as a gift that you can add to your library later on when you do have the game, like, why not let people just buy the dlc for themselves even if they don't have the game yet like how you can do it on PSN.
Come to think of it, the most toxic fgc communities right now are definitely Tekken's and Mortal Kombat's, two of the four big fighting games out there. In a way it might be nice that some of the fighting games are smaller, the less toxic members that are present in them the better (in a way). Don't know about Smash lately, they seem ok for the time being.
Now we can say it for sure: BBTag can join DOA6 in the "no more dlc characters" group. At the very least it is still supported in terms of tournaments, since the King of Giant Festival got announced for the game, apparently 6 online tournaments will be held starting from 9th January with the last tournament happening on March 13.
If there's going to be a Darkstalkers 4 in the future then a cool guest character that Capcom could add would be Miriam from Bloodstained, I feel that she'd be a nice addition to that game.
Jonio is retiring from Mikado. Even if I'm new to Guilty Gear I've heard some things about the Mikado arcade prior to getting into the games, the amount of footage that he made for GGXX and Xrd is insane and he has been doing this for a long time now. Him leaving definitely feels like an end of an era at least for GG.
Well I'll be, Ghosts and Goblins gets a new game next year on the Switch only (so far), now that's something that I thought would happen much much later down the line, nice surprise there Capcom.
