    Same here. Despite majority of the models (looking at you, Jacky!), I want to see if there's any new moves or maybe some old ones returning (highly impossible).

    The models are fine, but the faces are hit or miss, actually I wondering why the faces looked off but familiar, turns out the game is being made on the Yakuza 7 (like a dragon) engine, which explains everything lol

    Yes, I think the game looks pretty nice, loving the heavy Dragon Engine touch on them! Jacky does indeed look weird, but I think it's because they did him so good in DOA I doubt he'll ever look that good ever again lol. The rest look fine imo! Brad especially had a big glo up.
    I like how many subtle references to older SNK games are in KOF 15 so far! Remaking King’s Art of Fighting 2 stage was super unexpected and I loveee it
    It's so obvious that Tekken 7 has a better (dare I even say proper) production budget now lol

    I don't think people "officially move" from games. Play whatever you wanna play, it's that easy. I think people just realize that DOA5 can still be fun.

    nothing wrong with Arcsys/Guilty Gear per se, but variety is nice
    so with the slight buzz over this Itagaki Studio thing... are we all expecting a DOA/NG spiritual successor or something?

    @oMASTER LEGENDo from what @Camel with 2 thumbs saying is, that back when SF3:NG came out, no one gave a damn about the new cast (excludes Ibuki) because everyone wanted Chun-Li and the rest of the SF2 cast (though we have the Alpha series). Alex became popular when 3rd Strike came out.
    Any KOF “fan” saying they won’t buy KOFXV unless it has rollback and/or crossplay ain’t shit and doesn’t actually care about the series.
    I feel so bad for not playing FF7 ever because I feel nothing about Sephiroth despite knowing how impactful of a choice he is

    Understandable yeah. Granted FF7 is overrated as heck, but even I can't deny Smash's choice.

    The only reasonable portion is that I do agree that Smash has far too many sword characters, but then when I see Smash putting out a really good one, it's like "damn, hard to say no" because least it's not another damn FE character.

    Well, in his trailer the person that he saved at the beginning was SCIV Mi-na, we might have some time travel shenanigans at work again. According to the wiki, we also know very little of Hwang's activity post SCIII so they have the freedom to do whatever they want with him if this Hwang is from the Original Timeline.
    Something about Granblue VS just ain't clicking with me. The graphics look nice but I don't feel any connection with the characters and setting for me to care enough about the game

    @Camel with 2 thumbs GBFVS Made me appreciate Unga the same way BBTAG did for wanting a complete character. Should have had been more unga. It feels like a slow-ass 3rd Strike with chains and no parry system.

    Some jump cancelable normals on block would be appreciated, although i'd say GBFV feels more like a dumbed down alpha 3 in A/Z/V-ism than anything else, but alpha 3 was dam near 20 years ago, so replicating that kind game feel outta nowhere is jarring as hell

    Didn't really consider A3 since I was fixated on the fact that there's a universal overhead but if you mean the combos themselves, that makes perfect sense actually.
    I’ve noticed how most (if not all) of the newcomers in the latest 3D fighters have very short movelists and are usually easy to use. Especially T7 and DOA6 :/

    I mean easy can have different meanings since it can also vary by the type of people playing the character+approach. It's usually the context and at times how much effort placed into a character. You can have an easy character with incredible depth to it because there is much things to experiment, or you can have an incredibly high difficult character with barely any depth (Raidou).

    Ein/Momiji could be characters labeled a more fundamental level, but yet both characters lack depth due to just basic functions overall that other characters generally have, if not other characters have things that are just plain better. Even Gen Fu lacks depth despite a more powerful character, just hit a few buttons+vortex and boom. Diego's rather similar, not much going on and tends to feel like he's "just there".

    For Tekken on the other hand, it's just based on that game's format. We can't exactly mix Tekken's difficulty+character being easy/hard as the same thing because it gives people the perception that both things are the same. Some people find Tekken easy, some people find it hard. Same as DOA.
