    I haven't kept up with SF news very deeply, but people seem to be on both sides of the fence when it comes to whither his departure is a good or bad thing for the future of Capcom fighting games. Some people say he's the reason why we haven't seen Darkstalkers return yet, but I remember there was a time he was pushing for it but the higher ups said no...?

    Im pretty sure Darkstalkers hasn't returned because Darkstalker Resurrection (the Darkerstaklker 1 and 3 collection that came out for PS3 and 360) sold like actual garbage, and it's sales were being used to gauge interest in a sequel, but I do remember Ono being the one who was pushing for more Darkstalkers

    For anyone thinking KT will drop prices immensely for games, good luck with that. Their Fairy Tail game is charging full game prices for DLC. On top that GUST made that game, so if you like mediocre quality games, there you go.

    Damn my twitter feed is all Soul Calibur and lots of tech, pretty epic stuff lol. I don't even play the game and I just know some things work where i'm like "Wow that actually works? lel"

    I'd love to, but I barely play as it is lel. I don't even play DOA5 nor DOA6. Wish the game came out like around 2012-16 where I had huge amounts of grind time.

    That's a shame man. I get the feeling you'd love Setsuka cause she is pretty much the Akira of Soul Calibur. She's even got her own SPoD ( her Sakura Fury combo). Let's not forget about the hype samurai Haohmaru too lol.

    FF14 has a free trial with over 200 hrs of gameplay. Give it a shot, ARR is a slog but Heavensward is worth it.

    Already had a good week from getting all Mystical Ocean outfits (Kasumi & Luna) outfits & Bubble Outfit for Fiona from DOAXVV. Got lucky on ebay where I was the only bid to spend $2.99 (plus more on shipping) to get a plush.

    I think people would be less disappointed if they expanded their game library more (not everyone course, least towards the ones that only play that one series and stress themselves out with news).

    When there was zero announcements for DOA I was unfazed lol . Fan of DOA true, but waaaay more of a "fighting game genre" fan than a fan for a single series. But hey, it's true to play what you like.

    In truth the Doa game that we do deserve will take 3-4 years and your average fg player will forget and move on to better games. Also you have plenty of games to keep you occupied until that time comes so it should be easy.

    For Me having expanded library wouldn't lessen My disappointment for what DOA did this time, since I have an interest for the franchise, and still wants more DOA games (like DOA5 or fighter brand fused with VV costumes/feature). Having no announcements wouldn't disappoint Me.

    More than hints, Harada was seriously pushing for it. They were apparently saying different fighting game devs should help lift eachother up and share best practices. This is the kind thing I was hoping for when this stream was announced.

    10/10 intro from Harada. That alone put that roundtable big points. At first I was neutral since it could be just regular topics, the purpose of it was to gather together and talk about how they want to support the genre together to stay relevant. Announcements are second thing on the fair note. Congrats Soul Calibur and Tekken!

    SNK's crossover character for SamSho is free DLC. That's actually unexpected from SNK. Characters for fighting games tend to have a high chance of of putting a price tag on it, especially crossover characters.

    SNK games are old-fashioned. They also have great character design that attracts new players. They're kinda proving that casuals don't care for technical shit. Just give them cool characters and let the old heads with responsibilities reminisce. They'll buy your shit but some won't. Ultimately creates hype and a rekindled spirit for their beloved franchises.

    I thought that character being made free could be related to it being some rando Tencent-game character that no one outside of China had heard of and SNK having connections to Tencent now... maybe using SNK's games as a platform as a platform for publicity for their games, which isn't something I'm happy to speculate about...

    @inochinagi lol when "King of Fighters 15" halts development so SNK can make "Honor of Kings Fighters" which ends up being a KoF reskin staring HoK characters and a lowered the skill ceiling, THEN i'd say its time to start sweating about Tencent, but by then it'll be too late and China will have it's fingers in all of our businesses (like it already doesn't lol)
