    Since DOA6 took an L, expect DOA6 upgrade at PS5 / Steam release? could probably see new stages or returning ones, but i'd also imagine new characters similar to DOA5U in expansion. May even have the full team behind it this time.

    A lot of fighting games took an L this generation. But yeah, it's Tecmo, so expect a DOA6U at some point.

    Also @XxNoriakixX, kind of weird to refer to DOA5LR as a "solid foundation" to build on when that game was loaded with "ugly costumes" aimed at "pedos and weebs". KT/TN have had that direction for DOA practically from DOA5 or DOA5U's start.

    I meant the gameplay of 5, so the costumes were for koei's favourite crowd while we could have fun fighting and learning. 6 only has fanservice, not even a ground game, 5 was worth supporting to a degree :eliot: 5 was a solid step into competitive territory with a better balanced cast. I think i only bought the halloween ones for lei and gen though. But 6 is so lazy and koei's behaviour is unacceptable

    Code Vein is pretty good. Later in the game is where it starts to test you since your NPC buddies are more likely to die in missions compared to early in the game. Certainly is more coop than the general Souls, but it's pretty good imo.

    Pretty good to know that Shimbori in old articles actually mentioned Tekken as the best current king of the 3D fighters (until Sega makes the comeback of course, which is probably never unfortunately).

    Pretty good that he was honest. There is no shame in admitting it and accepted it.

    @Hold_Junkie93 Some of the users here have a habit to post just to post for some type of weird recognition (Onryoki) so I wouldn't worry about it.

    DOA people for is holy, do not step on frying pans when you try to roast other games, some of these other games are strong and popular for good reasons other than being just-popular franchises, they generally have more legitimate weight. Graphics makes absolute sense (of course), just don't embarrass yourself mentioning better neutral than other games, sit down.

    Except Smash, you can prob roast that every day.

    Those changes won't sway them into consideration if they weren't willing to do so. I understand say, putting meter in a 3D game to bring in other FG players.I played the older ones enough to know that when they pull moves like DoA6 and SC6 where they say, "We're going back to the old days." Why keep a form of what the previous had in particular features? Why go forward but two steps back?

    People are starting to understand FGs more in recent years. I'd say there's no point in appealing to people that haven't tried the new stuff to put in old stuff. They're trying to make it more spacious and not have people scared of interactions with the stun system or falling hazards. Lowering things we can do w/stun, forcing more RNG scenarios. It doesn't feel fleshed-out as we've had in last gen of FGs

    Added corkscrews 2 Tekken BC they saw casuals didn't understand how to wall carry. Also adding 100 ways 2 combo & a new wall bounce, all while keeping the health the same. Reason people wanted a 1v1 Tekken was all the crazy death setups. They also changed the wake up system too, so, people don't have to learn that aspect.
    Doa did this & now there's characters that can capitalize on non-teching opponents & others not.

    Some Tekken information:

    - Tekken 7 will stop at Season 5 for characters and support

    - Season 3 will feature returning characters and new characters. Guests unavailable on this pack

    - Season 4 will likely have guests according to Harada, Season 5 will be completely unknown (makes sense, we aren't time travelers)

    @Force_of_Nature 5 Season (passes) for T7 is a pretty smart move from them considering just how popular the game got. They're going to take advantage of the game's popularity as much as possible, proof of that being that T7 might become the fighting game with the longest life cycle (unless if Capcom will go for a fifth season for SFV as well, which I hope they don't, just let that game die).

    ^just like back in the day...T7 had a rough start as well though, be it the internet connections, input lag, fan fav characters having been replaced by weeb waifus etc. And Sc6...at least bamco finally granted them some money to fix the game in s2. But yes, it also is too 2D and too many bad mechanics such as amy's roses and NM's terror super saiyan mode

    I remember having 800+ viewers for Nioh 1 alpha demo one time on Twitch. Missed opportunity to be a streamer? probably. Thing is, I can't see myself being an active streamer in general. I actually burn out in like 2 hours, can't sit down in one spot for long periods in the games. My brain is against it for some reason.

    @Chisa @Force_of_Nature Yeah, I even streamed DOA5LR a while back before DOA6 and even roughed up to like 72+ viewers along with hosting from Manny, but then I stopped in like one hour and people were like "wait dbomb, that's it?"

    I was like "yeah, I don't stay on too long lol". That's watching/streaming in general though.

    People mentioning Tifa for this game series mostly because of the fan made Dead Fantasy videos, but people seem to forget that Square also tried to send a Cease & Desist letter to the creator at one point despite it was done for free lol.

    Noctis was added in March of 2018. DOA5LR was over 3 years old at that point (and is effectively a port of a 2012/2013 title). Of course, SE would go with Tekken 7, which had been on the market for less than 9 months at that point.

    As for DOA6, the game was pretty ill-conceived from the get-go. I can't see any company really collaborating with DOA6 from here on out until an inevitable DOA6U or reboot.

    @DestructionBomb Its better to mention something that is official (which could be a moment for cross promotion for guest character & costumes) rather than some fan made videos (especially if it could lead to owners of IP send Cease & Desist to the Youtube account).

    It wouldn't be too big of a deal if Tifa didn't appear in any of DOA games.
