    I kid, i actually have come across some solid connections, pity it's from ppl who no clue what the hell they're doing (but they know how to break blow, oh god do they know how to break blow)

    I hate YOLO supers online so much haha, but the game is indeed fun in a good connection.
    playing some beta. Love the feel, it's weird without slow escaping but realistically the stun system has been reduced so much that you're only getting a jab in most cases. but there are still some stuns that allow "more"

    Yeah I am content with reduced stuns. Wish we got it on PC though aha

    Reduced stuns feel so weird. And launch properties are different. Half my combos no longer connect. But it feels good so far.

    so how does it work? Do I need to have the game pre ordered or something? I cant pre purchase it on steam right now.

    idk even know if the beta is coming to steam, but it is available for pre-loading in specific regions (and as the day goes by it should be available in other regions). On PS4 however you don't need to pre-order the game. I'm not sure what time exactly it starts either.
    first time playing ffx. Enjoying the story so far. They did a good job making the characters likable and making players want to invest time into playing through the game. Should have took notes from this game for FFXV =/
    I'm just happy I have a whole month to play KH3 instead of trying to rush through for DOA6, then a good week to play some Anthem
    So moves give different types of wall splats or players can switch between doa4 or doa5 walls?

    I mean if that's the case with the latter, then the issue isn't as bad as one thought it would be. Might even be move dependent, stage specific, or triggering conditions which I think is a better way vs every wall is DOA4.0.

    To be honest, if certain moves cause different wall splats i wouldnt be against that either. A handful of characters had a plethora of ways to wallsplat you in doa5 to the point of where trying to predict a hold seemed pointless
    TN definitely owes there competitive community a explanation, at least to calm the people worried. This "wait until the game drops" is not the tea people are trying to hear... =/
    TN showing off more of that wallsplat on Twitter. I'm going to say follow ups are guaranteed unless players have meter to breakhold.
    DOA6 seems just about done. We've seen changes to combo's, mechanics, and the wall game. Hopefully, we'll see changes to the ground game next.

    Yeah, TN is leaning around grounding an opponent being a "breather" for the victim, but it's poor game design IMO. The aggressor should always have an overt advantage after a knockdown like in SoulCalibur or Tekken.

    @Force_of_Nature of_Nature Right! Why should I get punished for a reasonably timed Force Tech?
    Either I give up offensive pressure and back off after a combo, or I go for a Ft and get punished.

    The grounded opponent already has a lot of power in this game (some characters have specific rising attacks on top of the normal mid/low kick...looking at Lisa especially here, my goodness), this glitch gives them more! xD

    Apologies for the rant. I've often thought the grounded opponent is a mystery box in this game.
    Wait are we getting the old wallsplats back? Just saw brad do 66p into the wall and then 4pp launch >.>
