    I have a question, if I want to rush my opponent with Kasumi what are the best options to intimidate my opponent ?

    Mostly used moves for that purpose are of course her hoshinpo dash (3p+k), 66p and 66k, but make sure that you use the latter two just for whiff punishment for most of the time. Lots of Kasumi players abuse 66k and whiff it too much, which imo is not a go-to for her to get in. Otherwise, just dash in and defend. This applies to all the characters.

    If I face certain characters like Ayane, I may also use her 9K too as it causes a bounce on a backturned opponent, allowing me to do more damage after that. Also, it can crush lows so I'd just use it against some characters.

    Well, I agree with most Kasumi players abuse her 66K, I personally like to do 66P since it's a deeper stun. I never really considered 9K as a pressure option I'll try more moves out. Thanks!

    Kasumi's stun game really gets on my nerves. Moves like K, 3K, 4H+K, 6K and P6PP(P+KP) pushes her opponent back a little bit on hit.

    H can be both Helena and Hitomi, but this time I didn't pick either of both in the tournament. I played against people with Kasumi for most of the time and with Rachel just once in the match that decided who to stand out from the pool to the winner's bracket in the top 4.

    Just noticed that the Eliot's frame data omits lots of his strings. Such as his 4PPPP(K, P, 46P, 2P). His 9P isn't even on the list...

    I'm okay for some matches but I'm from Taiwan in Asia. Connection is a problem. I've had some matches with some players from Europe and America and the matches weren't smooth but too laggy to play.

    hey uprisingjc im new to the site but i have pick up kasumi not as main but as alt she share the same spot with rig but anyway my question is any tips on how to use or playing kasumi if my ps3 wasnt down i would like to play you when it get a new ps3 but for now like ask any tips anything to practice just let me thanks in advance

    Hmm..sorry. Would you please be more specific? Kasumi features high speed and she's also HIGHLY UNSAFE. You should avoid finishing her strings too much.

    ok thanks and to be more clear on what i said is she will be a alt character i will use if ryu or rig cant handle who im fighting agaisnt or if i just dont feel playing with one of the guys that day does that help a lil bit?

    panicitstylor: but for those whiners, I wouldn't have started playing certain characters that I had no interest in. I decided to also use those characters and beat those whiners with them so that they can STFU and GTFO.

    Thanks for watching my vids. As for your question, my friends and I feel that the online gameplay is VERY LAGGY....EVEN WORSE THAN HOW IT IS IN VANILLA DOA5 -_-

    I've been meaning to ask you how you felt about Kasumi's currently known 5U changes. 9PK becoming a bound seems nice and I like the sound of the 236P relauncher and 46T. I'm going to miss H+K though.

    Sorry for the late reply. Wasn't the turnaround stun of 3KK taken off and it got its knockback property back?

    As for extending the stun on Kasumi's opponent using her mid kicks, I also prefer 6K as her 3K is not really that good for doing this. For example, characters like Bayman and Hitomi can extend the stun by using their 3K and then use their jab to further extend the stun without having to dash forward abit.
    Bayman -> 3K -> P
    Hitomi -> 3KP

    Kasumi has to dash forward a bit to make her jab touch her opponent after using her 3K.
    Stun -> 3K -> 66 -> P

    This is what I feel annoying.

    She's a character that requires some skill to master in DOA5, unlike how she was in DOA4.
