    Thoughts on this article? might be reasonable actually, though some say Nagoshi might be taking fighting games a little too serious as well. But then I remembered that most fighting games as well as DOA wasn't exactly ready for this character regardless either way.

    That's exactly how it might get pictured. One of the cases where Nagoshi should of just not said anything. Otherwise the norms will think he's the bad guy around here.

    I won't be checking out Kotaku's article, but title and little description just sounds like a dumb reason (MK11 with its "realistic" argument on Female costume designs), and reminds Me of Final Fight controversy with Poison & Roxy when people weren't happy with an idea of Men beating Woman up in a video game.

    Most of them are saying that the connection with other players, even outside of U.S is pretty good. Sounds like they actually buffed their netcode up big time, which imo, isn't too surprising, Tag 2 out of the PS3 fighting games had the best netcode iirc (ofc, out of the non-rollback games), they know how to fix the online mode of their fighting games if they really want to.

    Mass Effect 1-3 Legendary trilogy collection edition will be released 2021 for PS4/PS5, Xbox etc. and it will include all the DLCs entirely I hear.

    Including, a new Mass Effect game is in the works.

    Assuming those are only standard sales, that's still;201,500,000 and if it were to all be deluxes, 248,000,000. Round that out to somewhere in between. They made about 137,000,000. Again assuming those are all standard. Yet, 63Mil is unaccounted for? How they fuck this up? This proves, a simple game is better.

    To pre-order the PS5 or not. Can't say. COVID is still an existing problem where waiting in line for a console isn't worth it. I never wait in big lines in general for games in consoles regardless, possibility to best wait. Guess I could get Amazon to ship it, but unsure if I actually want it at the moment.

    If you're still playing PS4 games then get the PS5. It will be better than playing your favorite games on the lagstation 4.

    Yeah, its definitely better to buy a new console a good couple of days or even weeks after release, I remember that the PS4 Pro on the first days after launch had problems with certain 4k TV's and it wasn't patched too quickly iirc. With games being released for full price with a lot of dlc that follows it, I think that the best idea nowadays for games and consoles is to wait a bit.

    Feels good to know that the next Nioh is already confirmed, it'll be a long while from now according to them since they haven't made a concept for it yet, but at least it's a given. Probably won't see it for another 2-3 years roughly, PS5 would be obvious, possibly Xbox, and hopefully PC.

    @Seigen Don't worry about DOA, since its still Koei Tecmo game from Japan/Asia to US/Europe. Nioh is the only KT brand that is getting published by third party world wide, while KT handles JP releases & Steam releases (according to Steam page for Nioh 1).

    The publisher is irrelevant. If TN will be busy with developing a new Nioh you can bet your next paycheck DOA goes the VF way. No way they'll have the resources to develop a new Nioh and a new (hopefully good) DOA simultaneously.

    Oh, but even then I have a feeling that DOA won't be TN/KT their main focus, and at best would mostly be the franchise that will be given less budget/resources (like DOAX3), reuse assets from their previous games, & focus on DLC.

    shit, some of us are still doing not so great in the pandemic anyway. I can't get a new $60-$70 game right now. Paying my net was an issue at one point. Makes me wonder how many people need a stimulus with all the PS5 preorders lol

    Eh, I trust CD Projekt Red that they'll do this game justice, but wow this game has pretty much been delayed all year haha. There was the mention a while back about a 6-day per week crunch too (which feels ironic that people made a shit about that now). Oh well, CDPR will release CP2077 when it's ready (preferably before 2077 haha).
