    Seriously, take your anti-consumer mentality and shove it. The gaming industry did just fine without DLC in the past. And don't give me this "welfare" bullshit, indie devs are all over the place now and isn't because of DLC, it's because of widespread digital distribution and PC/consoles making it easier for smaller devs to publish on. Go away.

    For the most part I imagine it's the visual. They want to show a move is strong but it still takes a bit to recover. In the case of Hayate/Ein's 8PK/9PK, the high kick is a guard break for -5. In the end he lands awkwardly and has to recover but the kick is supposed to be a strong one so this is shown through the guard break.

    Another aspect is balance. If say, Brad's 236P/Running P, was +on block, that move would be spammed and unbeatable for the most part. It can't be free stepped (easily) and it's got a misleading hitbox. High crushes and low crushes at the same time. They want to show this move is powerful but they don't want the post gb metagame to be in Brad's favor.

    The combo challenge is my favorite feature about Ultimate. Absolute best way to jump into a character and learn the basics

    Yeah it's not bad. It's good for launchers and combo throws. You don't learn the good combo's but that's also pretty logical because then it would be too easy.
    Has Zack ever made top 8 at a tourney? Does footage of a such a miracle even exist?

    That and Zack's footsies just feel so limited. What does he really have to make you fear in that neutral game? 4K? 9P,P if you're feeling sassy? I'm not saying Zack is bad whatsoever, but high-tier implies his strengths greatly outweigh his weaknesses and that just isn't the case

    Exactly. I've fought most top players (ex:Something-Unique) that ignores my pressure as if in their head they think Zack is not an issue, as you said they don't FEAR him. And Muay Thai is supposed to be feared.... Like my avatar ;)
