Little Info Mostly coming from the Street Fighter fighting scene, I have played fighting games since the SNES, Sega era. In those days you were either on Team "Hadoken!" or "Get over here!" I had the pleasure of being on both. Lol. I loved Mortal Kombat for the "wow" factor, mostly the blood and gore but I wanted something more in-depth for my tastes. Gravitated more towards Street Fighter and the rest was history. Back in 02 was when I first started playing DOA with DOA2: Hardcore on the PS2, I never really played 3D fighters before so it was new to me, I enjoyed it, I liked it and as soon as DOA3 came out I bought an XBOX just for it. I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of the DOAX spin off series, it hurt the respect of the game, I get who they were catering too however. Money talks, that's fine though. Anyway, I mained Kasumi for a long time before I switched it up with Ayane/Hitomi - needless to say I dropped Ayane and I'm still going strong with Hitomi in DOA5/U and I want to step up my 3D fighting experience with DOA over Tekken, SC, or VF.
Stick or Pad? Honestly, it's all about personal preference. That's like saying, "well what would you rather eat with, a fork or chopsticks?" I used to play on the pad for a long while before I bought myself a stick. It's not for everyone, using a stick is like re-learning how to play all over again. You have to put a lot of time and patience into it. I personally enjoy using a stick over pad and I've been forcing myself to play every fighting game I own or will want to own, using a stick. I'm still getting the hang of it.
