    Just started playing Saints Row 2 and noticed the graphics are outdated, slightly clunky controls (depends on your tv) and werid glitches. But, it's STILL superior than SR3 and SR4. xD

    Please note, you don't have to be a straight white male to "align" yourself with these language ideologies I'm just trying to highlight them for discussion; they are often invisible and I like that you made this status! I hardly ever get to talk about anything real nowadays and I am genuinely interested in engaging about language.

    All that being said: 3) Shade/tea/reading/ etc. are indeed a unique language (linguistically speaking). Language has many uses; and you're right no one owns a language per se. However, it constructs identity -- language creates many liminal zones. One of them is membership authentication -- not "authenticity." Language can be a gate keeper (or safeguard)

    to non-dominant membership categories such as LGBT, ethnic background, geography, etc. That's how language varieties and linguistic features are created. I'm not trying to say you should like it. I'm just miffed it's getting overused. Sorry for the comment chain everyone whos just getting on. It must be really frustrating. lol

    Would still be spamming under the old system, yes. But you would be right to assume that it would be highly unlikely for a moderator to have noticed it under the old system. However, not inconceivable. For example, if one of the respective users on the inactive accounts was alerted to the posts via email and then signed in to investigate and reported the post, the moderators would find the others.

    I don't believe that the new system was added to be of benefit to the moderators so much as it is an unfortunate side effect of updating the site. I can't imagine anyone being particularly pleased with that particular change.

    So... you fight against lots of Honokas. Strangely, I've never fought many of them, it's actually hard finding someone who uses her, (un)lucky you!

    Yeah, there are quite a few strange decisions like that in DOA.

    I still don't understand why Nyo doesn't have a proper punish throw. They should have sped up Bankotsubo's i8 4T to i7, but instead they made it even slower. Yeah, she has an i7 6T, but it's a reset throw. Meanwhile Hitomi has an i7 punish and an i7 reset.

    Not that it's related to the discussion, but Nyo's 6T is arguably better for her than what you would call a "standard punish throw," even if I would prefer a KND due to my aversion to resets. There was clearly some logic applied in giving her that move (especially since she retains a traditional OH), whereas there is no logic involved in Honoka's PPPK aside from "Derp."

    Yeah, lol. Maybe it just had to do with the guardbreak animation and they just didn't feel like speeding up or slowing down either character's recovery animation, so they just said "fuck it" and left it as is.

    Not really. Even if this status were about comparing how much I like characters, which it isn't, Hayate wouldn't exactly be an impressive milestone to overcome in my book.

    @Chapstick Yep, that was him all right, either he shut in or most likely he didn't know how to answer, and he realized he bit more off than he could chew. He also mentioned something about dissecting Helena, but that didn't see the light of day either. He was probably just trolling to get a scare from some people, but unfortunately we'll never know his true motives.
