    Who knows what they are after. The article mentions that the foundation collaborated with SNK through a subsidiary in the past. Maybe they saw a sustainable company and decided to buy it. It could be that they want to increase their presence in Asia without overcommitting. Also, they're investing in eSports so they could use the SNK brand to improve Saudi Arabia's image.

    Oh, I thought you were pointing out the part where they're talking about how it'd be cool if Tekken did what SF is doing with the fan designed costumes (but when DOA5 did it for every character, no one cared outside of DOA fans, lol). Btw, the winners for that just got announced today... both Juri costumes, lol.

    If anyone here likes WH40k, the final part of Astartes (a fan made CGI short film) was released today on YT. The whole film is less than 15 minutes long.

    It's a very tropey franchise. The miniatures aren't popular here but Dawn of War 2 got me interested and some of the novels are good. Not a big fan of SPESS MEHREENS but the game that Relic made was OK.

    Thanks to the pandemic I finally have an excuse to sit down and read the manga of my favorite anime.

    Ah, rightstuf, I think 70% of my anime/manga is from there (20% from Amazon). It's amazing what you can find there. I'm definitely a physical collector, lol. Nothing I've owned has gotten damaged from just sitting on a shelf. I think UV would only really be harmful with direct sunlight for lengthy periods of time. This reminds me, I need to read the manga I got for my favorite anime too, GitS.

    I've watched the old GitS movies, SAC and the Arise OVAs. I'm not feeling the art direction for the netflix series but I'll have to look into the manga someday.

    EDIT: Rightstuf has the 2017 DVD release of Mezzo Forte on sale for $6. I'd buy it just for the lulz but the lovely customs officials would probably block it.

    Yeah, the art direction and designs of the new GitS have me anti-hyped. :/

    Lol, I've got Mezzo Forte from Rightstuf. I'm pretty sure I bought it before 2017 though. An Akihabara Dennou Gumi plushie and a Tachikoma plushie are two of the weirder things I've gotten from there.

    Hmm? You expect Tamaki will cost more? Also, woah, Mai is also $15.99 in USD? o_O The exchange rate has been at nearly .70 for the past few years, so there's usually quite a difference between Canadian and US prices. Btw, the cost of Season Pass 4 here is $115.99.

    There are many big DoA fans with season passes out there. And some of the more price conscious content creators received it as a gift from TN. What the eye doesn't see... The character looks cool, though. Base price is the same as KOF guests here.

    Amazon.com has the PS4 version of the HORI Fighting Commander on sale for $25. I’ve been wanting to try a fightpad for a while and this one is the most popular so I ordered 2.

    @inochinagi Yeah, I've seen people using the tip of their index and middle finger to activate the buttons. Maybe the 6 button layout is not so useful for normal grip.

    Yeah it definitely works better that way, but I've long established the habbit of making that way of holding a controller my "tekken mode" and just using my thumb as "DOA mode" so I don't cross wires in my head when I switch games, lol.
