DOA5LR CHRISTIE (Force of Nature) vs. AYANE. Asking for a little assistance...

He does attempt to force situations on me with Ayane's 6P3 spins, but yeah, I think he may be focusing on trying to achieve whiff punishment a little too much. Though playing a strong zoning game isn't a bad idea, especially against characters with superior close-range games.
Hmm ... I do not know. I might have to see more of his play to judge about that. Maybe he thinks that he has to beat you with extended footsie games rather than just create some "forced decision" situations by using Ayane lows or throws.
Yes. My "question mark" button isn't working. That is also quite odd that you don't receive notifications.
I don't like that I don't recieve notifications about comments here :/
Is your last sentence a question?
Thanks for the feedback @ToKyo PewPew & @Alucardo. Movement and keepout definitely looks like an area for improvement, since that is a large aspect of Ayane's gameplay. I do admit also that 5KK can quickly become a liability if relied on too much a poke. I've given him small tips to add to his gameplay after most individual sessions, though I find that there's A LOT of nuances to Ayane's gameplay that can overwhelm someone easily. Do you guys think he's overthinking things...
In general, I don't see much that he would have done 'wrong', there are rather things he could improve. The first thing I would tell him is not to try doing korean backdash in a match unless he can do it decent and has the space for doing it. He tries to do so even in close mid range against Christie who can easily PPPPP around the whole screen, stunning him immediately. At the beginning, he was not even guarding while standing right in front of you. This is, how Alucardo below already mentioned, hindering his mobility rather than improving it atm. And mobility is what Ayane needs.

Another thing that he does not is playing a keep out game. He does create space, but he does not try to prevent you from coming closer by outting some attacks on the screen when you move closer. There's too much respect given in terms of that.

Other than that, it just a lack of character and string knowledge as well as bad luck. I mean, we're talking about Christie here and you still performed ~60% hp combos on him.
Yo! So tell him when you hit in the back with DKJ K he can hold the second punch on PP, I think he should be more mobile with ayane, work on combo and environement he should react on 214P whith an hold at 1:28 (the move is i31 so you can react easily) and less KK christie has a lot of tech crouch move.
btw it's not an easy match up I think.
Hope it help ;)

I decided to administer the ''Christie Test'' today. It was quite the experience. What I'm requesting is if you guys can help me out with some tips that I can give my buddy to help him out with his Ayane (or the game in general). I have an idea where some challenges may lie, but I'm not 100% certain of my observations. Don't care if you specialize with Ayane or are ''amazing'' at DOA. Just looking for multiple perspectives. I also want to reduce the salt Christie induces too lol. Cheers!
