yeah cause It seemed to fit well with the schedule of new girls getting added to VV that It would be the next new girl to be added to VV that would be added to DOA6 rather than a girl that's already in VV. Since a new girl is added to Vv about every 3 months which would mean the next one would be added In March which lines up perfectly with this new character be added to DOA6. So it would make sense If the new character is the next girl being added to VV and she's gonna be added to both Vv and DOA6 at the same time.
well it i am hoping that the 28th shows a character reveal.

Maybe the character will turn out to be bad lol but they could also turn out cool, Aren't gonna know until we see them/who it is. So I'm holding off judgement until I see them. Obviously though yeah..With DoA6 so far it's pretty easy to end up being left disappointed with hoping for cool outfits and stuff once you actually see what we actually get lol.
I don't think that is the problem most here have with it and I don't even think the character will turn out badly, no new fighter so far was actually bad.
What pisses people off is that DOA turns more and more into a waifu only fighter and to top it all off they now put one of the insipid and redundant characters of that gacha game in DOA6 instead of a completely new, well designed character or one of the male veterans that they cut from the game.
And I don't think that is even the top of all things. This is still an ongoing transformation of the series. They will transform DOA more and more into a waifu gacha-type of game, because they know it sells and it is cheap and easy to produce.

I admire your optimism, but, at the rate things are going, I’m not sure if I can retain anymore interest in this game. Hopefully, this is just an awkward start to a better year. But, alas, I can’t be too certain. We’ll just have to be patient for the time being and hope they don’t dig this game an even deeper hole than it’s in now.
So the DOAXVV stream gave a hint on the girl that’s coming DOA6. The name has 3 characters (In Japanese). I did some digging and these are the names that have 3 Japanese characters as names. I’ve been searching and I can safely say that it is any of these characters:
Tamaki
Nagisa
Kanna
Monica
Sayuri
each of them have a 20% chance of being in the game. There’s still a chance that it will be a new girl, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Honoka is also gonna be getting Ryza in the atelier pack:
I bet you money Marie will get the blonde girl and Nico or another popular doa girl after her will get the silver hair one xD I hope they'll get hairstyles too but if the VV stream is any indicator they'll likely only get hair accesories since TN won't do full on new hair unless it's like a special pack like in LR for some characters.

Hmm from the 5 choices not sure who I would prefer tbh. If it’s kanna it will basically be marie all over unless they can make her unique enough.
She looks like someone from the Shrek universe so I'm glad she's not in.
