One thing I noticed ( as a Lisa fan ) although sadly I don't have a comparison photo of it just now though I feel try to get one soon. And this also applies to other characters outfits as well and that's that the look of fishnets has been improved noticeably in doa6 over doa5. I'll try to get pics of it just now in doa5lr to compare with doa6 but yeah. Oh and yeah It does seem like they tried to give some sex appeal to the male outfits with the deluxe outfits which was good to see.

And yeah I'm happy to hear from TN that they'll be continuing to make the pattern system better since they've also announced they'll be fixing the problem with it allocating the points to random characters and mentioned making it that the points will instead go to the character your using so that sounds good.

Okay I went on and got pics of the comparison. So maybe this is just a tiny change but still I noticed it lol. So even though It's an outfit they brought back from DoA5 they still must have spent the time to up the textures on them etc.

So here's It in DoA5, See how it actually kinda looks like the fishnets are a part of her skin and just doesn't look very nice?

And then here's the outfit in DoA6 ( though in purple since that's the only colour of it I've unlocked so far. ;P ) and it looks better in my opinion and now actually looks truly like the fishnets are over her skin now.

Geeze... Yeah... Without a doubt 6 is Lisa's game y'all. She is without a doubt the best looking queen in the entire game. It's really hard to argue with the effort on her. (Except for the lack of new hairs because TN has to reserve those for the "Waifus". It's fine. We get it. We don't need your stupid biased hair so you can take it and give it all to us because why aren't you giving any long hair to Lisa she would look fantastic with it and you're assholes for denying us fight me TN I will bloody your nose over this you jerks )

Proud to be in team Luchadora even if she feels weird to me in this game mechanically.

Lol yes! Lisa would look so good with a long hair option! Hopefully one day we'll get it, TN If your listening please give her that as an option at some point. ;)

About Rig:
They are clearly struggling with male bodies, as Navelgate shows, but you can also clearly see they made an effort to improve the male character modelling. The jump from DOA5's super low polygon models to the fairly high polygon models of DOA6 is a big step up. The musculature, especially on the legs, can look quite nice, and contrary to popular belief, they actually did indicate something like bulges and butt cheeks:

Funny you said that, I actually thought the same by looking at your pictures. You can totally see the guys look better than ever when it comes to body modeling imo! I still can’t relate on the whole bulge thing tho since Rig legit just looks so Ken-like. The game itself looks good, but what messes everything is the noob mistakes like the two navels or the inaccuracy to have some equality between model details (some characters’ body details change like in costumes they have navels, in some they don’t, in some they have them but they’re almost non-visible...) and also the low quality lightning engine that seems like they copypasted XNALara’s. I really wish they can take some notes from SNK now that they’re collabing and release a game patch that revamps the light system to look like it did in the first trailer/screens where we were all in awe.

To be fair they have to hold Lisa back or no one will play any of the other girls. She's too fabulous to be given Honoka's selection of haircuts. They would be forced to make her main character.

Honoka has hair? I thought her weave got torn apart after she came back to the scene ALIVE after being crashed! Her weeaboo ass wouldn’t even survive one hit with a volley ball :tina:

The modelling has been improved, as you can see on the belts, the textures are higher resolution as well, especially the net stockings, but that net texture... Is it completely flat, not using any normal maps? The old net stockings are very low resolution, but the plasticity looks more convincing.

Lol you can't avoid the Lisa stans now. :p
And yeah I know it was just a small change but I loved this outfit in doa4 and doa5 but in 5 I thought the netting looked a little off so I instantly noticed It looked better in doa6 and now the outfit looks better than ever. :)
( Oh as for the normal maps thing I'm not really sure what that is but yes it does seem to be flat still, Even so Imo it looks more convincing in 6 now )
