That is crazy to mentally grasp lmao wow it really does just obliterate the fidelity. There is not much to add to just_me's and grap3fruitman's great posts, but still:
That's the effect of image compression of the exact same game build for you. @Cadaveri.
I hope the guy who stole my older comparison will spread this as well.
Not seeing any proven facts here, apart from few truths about image compression.
36 GGs Or boycott and petition. They don"t complain about navels because male characters are bad and don't exist and should be replaced by clones of Honoka with different hair colors.

Wow, I feel bad. Just checked Twitter and they are misusing my lighting comparisons for their little war against DOA6. It's largely the same group that also constantly complains about the alleged lack of sexiness.
You know what no one complains about, yet everyone should? It's also something that I noticed first. Navels! Where are the darn navels? XD When the game releases everyone will be all surprised there are no navels...

I totally agree with you. I never understood why they made her run a round chasing Jann, when she could get just about any man or woman she wanted. Another thing you’re right about, Helena and Leifang are the classy girls. I don’t get why TeamNinja leave that out from Leifang. Leifang has always been a very classy character to me, she and Helena were always the most classy ladies in the game. That’s why I’m so disappointed they made her follow Jann like some schoolgirl in 5. Leifang is very beautiful and strong, I’ve always liked her.
I see what you mean, then I want Leifang to move on if he’s not romantically interested in her. Kinda painful to see such a beautiful woman going down like that. I’m like sist’a there’s plenty of fishes in the sea. Whoop his butt and claim your clown lol. But we’ll see how thing turn out in 6, hope it’s good.Of course not, after she beat him in 4 he has started viewing her as a rival and stopped viewing her as a woman. Her approaches towards him thus becomes unwelcome. This is how alphas are, they can't take the back seat. Only way to trick them is to use feminine charms and make them believe they are in charge (alternatively submit), a skill Leifang has yet to master, and I doubt we'll see it manifest as this is not a dating sim.
Can’t argue with you there lol Her dress was a mess. Speaking of wardrobe, in 6 her Cheongsam dress is not her main default costume. Since we’re getting more outfits later on in the future, I hope TeamNinja give us a better newer dress. Back on the subject about mannerisms. I remember in DOA2 and 3 Leifang was more graceful. In DOA4 was the beginning of the end. Keeping it real, I sometimes envy Helena fans. She’s treated with dignity and grace including showing off her wealth. Leifang in the other hand became a thirsty clown. Now it seems TeamNinja is trying to make her a sleazy type . It’s nothing wrong if she was like that from start, but clearly she wasn’t. Through the storm, for better or worse, I love the character. I just wish she fitted her bio description.Leifang winning the tournament and finally getting some recognition for her power would be so cool.
I hated the back of her cheongsam dress. And I hated the cuffs, the gold strings going down, her shoes (the height of the heel is terrible) and I hate the gold bands around the dress, the top and around the arms! They are way to thick and clunky looking! I hate that the dress is so stiff and makes her look short and stumpy. I liked the old design way more where the skirt part became slimmer towards the bottom of the dress!! Way more elegant ! I feel like Leifangs torso is way to long and her legs are too short! I want her to have a shorter torso in general and longer legs !
@Mr. Wah, you played the game, can you please confirm that there was more than enough character detail and texture detail?
I never understood why they made her run a round chasing Jann, when she could get just about any man or woman she wanted.
Everything else was great, and I am sitting here even considering trying to find a way to Gamescom next week, but most likely won't be going, and instead will be checking out the TGS build next month.
Agree 100% !! DOA4 took a wrong turn for me with Leifangs personality !! I wish TN would see this and think about this when they create Leifang for DOA6!Can’t argue with you there lol Her dress was a mess. I think you’re kinda making this into a love story that never took place.Well, Leifang (and Jann Lee) was deliberately made out to be imperfect. While Helena is the responsible heir, Leifang is cast as the spoiled rich girl. Helena focus on her goals above all else and is committed to her career, while Leifang is (essentially) chasing a bulky guy for a living. This is also why she fancy Jann Lee, as he's raw and unrefined. One must expect that everyone else she has been surrounded with up until now were well behaving "say what is accepted, not what you mean"-people, a common dilemma for the wealthy where everyone's out to "please her", where they want to befriend/marry her just to get into her rich pockets. Jann Lee on the other side stands up to Leifang, don't care about money and thus don't want anything from her. This is irresistible to her as he is probably one of very few "real" people she got in contact with while growing up, who also displays competence in what he does while working towards the goals he sets without attempting to leeching off others (a self-made man). As such she don't know how to approach him or attract him either, and is insecure towards what to do. However, Jann Lee on the other side is consumed by his purpose to become the strongest, unable to find a new meaning now that he's reached the top, searching for new stronger opponents, which (theoretically) shouldn't exist as he's now the champion. He's lost, and need to readjust his aim, yet he fails to realize this himself.
As such, the natural character development for both of these characters is for them to mature past their obvious flaws. Leifang needs to stop beating around the bush and make an honest attempt at confessing to Jann Lee, making it obvious to him what she wants and what she has to bring to the table (one hell of a sparring partner for starters). Jann Lee is not going to be the one to make the first move on that arena as it's not in his nature. She has to be the bee in this scenario, all while moving like a butterfly. Only after she's gotten a clear answer when bringing everything to the table, and only then, can she finally get released of her shackles (regardless of his answer). However, Jann Lee has his own (arguably far greater) issues, where he must face the consequences of his newfound status and fame, not to mention make use of the talents that propelled him towards becoming the champion to begin with and reignite his inner fire. He must reshape his efforts towards a new greater purpose he finds worthy. He reached his (one and only) goal, and he now wanders aimlessly, and that lack of meaning will consume him if it's left unchecked. This would essentially mean changing himself is at the core, which is incredible tasking and painful as this is who he's been since his childhood, and he may not become a better man at the end of it if he fails the challenge.
(Btw, sorry if I bring too much real life logic into this equation.)

lol You said a mouth full. You mentioned Leifang being spoiled, she don’t act like it, competitive wise, yes. But you’re right, if Leifang want to know If he wants her, than she needs to tell him. But it’s understandable why she haven’t due to being afraid of rejection. All I’m saying is, make something romantically happen or complete their rivalry and make her move on. I personally dislike her chasing him when she herself is very attractive and charming. Also maybe the reason why she haven’t mastered herself because of her feelings towards him. If those emotions wasn’t there, we could of saw her full potential. From what I’ve learned, she is the heart of their story. Since Jann Lee isn’t holding back with no feelings attached towards her, it’s reasonable why he remains superior. Getting to the point, the story is old and over used. She needs a new story to help her grow and develop better as a character. Otherwise it’s seems very lazy on TeamNinja behalf.Well, Leifang (and Jann Lee) was deliberately made out to be imperfect. The most disappointing part is that this silly Tag game has been going on for 4 installments straight. Either have Leifang defeat him and let them have a strong bond or go the romantic route. But naww Leifang is gonna chase him to the moon, her and Jann Lee's story really have no clear direction.lol You said a mouth full.
