Yet if i remember correctly, La Mariposa was teased with screenshots early during the summer.
The more I look at Leifang costume, the more I’m able to break it down. Starting with her shirt. Her shoulders have puffs, kinda Chun Lish. At the bottom of her shirt have black and white line. Her stomach is expose. Her gloves are cut showing the top of her fingers. She is wearing red wristband. As for her hairstyle, it almost exactly like Xangfei from the King of Fighters. Now moving down to her pants. Her pants are definitely tight and it goes all the way past her calves, pretty close to her ankles. Another thing her hips and calves have the black and white line. Her shoes are tennis shoes with heels. I can show what kind of shoes, pants, gloves and wristbands she’s wearing, but the shirt is kind of hard to describe in a picture.

Well I mean her hair is her iconic ring braids since DOA++, she just has those bun things on her.

lol Yes, I’m super excited for our Phoenix Queen to arrive. Also I agree with you, I think it’s gonna be yellow too. For the love of god, I want her outfit to be least cute. However, I would prefer a more Glamour style, because she’s wealthy. But for some reason TeamNinja never acknowledge it unless she’s in her Cheongsam dress. Another thing, I can’t wait to see her new fighting moves.

Agree 100% !!! I want her to be more wealthy looking too!! I want the new outfit to look cool and chic ! I hated how her cheongsam looked in DOA5 !!! It looked clownish to me and I never played in it ! I personally always play in her DOA3 C3 from her DOA3 ending ! I always had a softspot for that outfit !!! But lets see !!! I can't' wait to see more stages too! I hope it's an Chinese inspired stage like Koku An or Dragon Hills!

So which character do we think won’t get redesigns? Obviously Rig and Hitomi are going to go with very minimal redesigns, so who will follow suit?
I am guessing Mila will get minimal resdesigns because she already has the mma costume and is so new. That’s the only one I can predict. I’m hoping Lisa and Christie get solid redesigns to help them with how unpopular they currently are.

im thinking eliot & ayane will get massive redesigns. I think ayane will have a hood so when they tease her silhouette we think its phase4. Eliot can go in many directions. im excited. I hope my bby koko looks good. Lowkey want her to get a shoulder length haircut.

Honestly, I hope you are right. I would love if Eliot, Ayane, and Kokoro get good redesigns. I worry for Kokoro because she is so popular in Japan. I worry they are just going to keep her design with minimal changes. Anime fans love a good moe and she is definitely the typical moe stereotype.

It doesn't look as if any character is going to get a redesign. The biggest redesign we saw so far was Rig getting a bit chin stubble, lol:
I just know they are going to give Eliot that awful conehead hairstyle back, underneath which he is hatching little chicks. ;__;

...Now I can't help but see his default hair as looking like somebody spent the better part of their afternoon just throwing eggs at his head.
When the games Website went up, they put Honokas profile on Kasumis page. Thats all.

Eliot should get this design, it fits the new art direction and it's one of the best fan designs. Marie too!

If Lisa is in, she's a potential candidate to get a really solid redesign. They need to do something to her that shows that she survived the accident, its impossible that her body was left intact. Whether she's getting something as extreme as becoming half cyborg (like some people here joke about bc of Raiden) or not idrk, but I'm pretty sure she'll get something done to her, even if its something minimal as a scar, and seeing how DOA seems to love scars lately, I can see them giving her some lol (and, again, if she actually comes back for 6).

I mean honestly I wouldn't be against her having like a scar or something so long as it wasn't anything crazy, Scars can actually look really nice at times, Obviously though I'd prefer that she was completely undamaged from the explosion and had no scars....or cybernetic parts. I'm so excited to see her though, I'm dying to see her and how she looks in doa6.
