It will be fine for me if the announcement turns out to be DOA6. DOA5LR is becoming kinda monotonous.... and it'll definitely be in 2/3 years, I'm not saying DOA5 is bad or anything, it's an amazing game an I still play it, though I would also like to see and play something new and different. I expect DOA6 to be completely different from the current game.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to see another 2/3 of only DLC costumes, I'm tired of them.... it's the main reason I'm not visiting this thread like I used to, I didn't even bother to download the last 2 catalogues, that is something I always used to do.
I hope they keep us entertained with balance changes and new DLC stages/characters, though at the same time, it would be pointless to add a new character given the fact that chances are high he/she won't appear in the hypthetical DOA6.

Honestly, I have no problem with DOA6 coming around at that point in time.
What I truly hope for is a huge change from DOA5 to DOA6.
I don't want it to be DOA5.5 as I have said numerous times. Expand on Critical Bursts, Power Blows and Launchers(give us multiple versions which can do mid punch, mid kick or even more options from that.
Bring in new stages that are expansive and destructive as hell. I want to see full on Street-Scramble levels of chaos with lots of cliffhangers.
Give Kasumi and Momiji their long hair styles from past games' back.
Bring in some new blood and a story mode that will include everyone in it. I'm not wishing for the moon, I'm hoping they found out what they wanted in DOA6 as DOA5's main issue was them tangling a bit with their identity.

They are canonically part of the doa/ng shared universe so they most likely will come back (though I expect Rachel will be dlc).
So long as they plan to keep releasing dlcs for the next 2 years, bikinis and collabs are guaranteed. The question is what series will they find to work with (with so many game and anime series to chose from, they probably want to save some crossovers for doa6).
We can also expect valentines day, halloween and hopefully some more christmas theme packs.

And even if it was doa6, i'm not holding my breath. They still don't know how to make any good stages or anything, that's why they resorted to bringing back stages of games with better level design, and making all the crappy moeblob copypaste girls for dlc to appeal to Japan's lcd for easy cash.

agreed with stages also. no more single empty box arenas. This is dead or alive, we are supposed to be getting full interactive multitiered ENVIRONMENTS.
I'm not gonna hope for any more "new blood" because we all saw how that crap turned out with doa5. Started good with Mila and Rig, then marie rose is totally out of place but functional, but after that it's been total shit. A genderswap, a copypaste of an existing character, a character who's only design process was the words "biggest boobs" written on a napkin, etc.
Keep the actual mechanics of 5 as that's what they like but go back to the stage design of older games as well as the much sleeker, more dyanmic art style.
Bring back Aerosmith intro, the sleek silver and blue menus, the character theme music, a proper freaking Arcade with character endings, make Kasumi a redhead again, get rid of Zack's never ending shit eating grin, etc, etc.

LMAO. You only have issues with those because you have issues with them, they are fine additions to the game and need more tweaking to make them even more effective and better.
And crying about how Mila is treated is not due to how KT does things, she just wasn't as well received as she should have been. And crying about could be and what not does not make your opinion look better.

is there anyone who can give me an extra code for the dlc that was given out at NEC, I was unfortunately unable to go to NEC this year, I usually go every year, though if they would have announced the dlc was going to be given out earlier, I would have probably tried to go or such

As I said, they can only go so far with crossover costumes before they run out of ideas (or they decide to save crossovers for doa6) so more fan design packs are very likely but I doubt they will go beyond the usual halloween pack.
