What CAN $3 get you in another game honestly

Don't just compare the price. Compare the value instead.

There are many DLC for 5, 10, 15, 20 bucks that get you way more contents than DOA costume DLC could give you when being rounded up to the equal amount of price.

Eh, you're right. I'm sorry to everyone, though i meant more like new ninja costumes for the ninja characters than an everyone pack like the ninja pack that happened before. About the good versus bad fanservice, you're right as well, people see things in different ways after all.

It would be the ideal thing, to just release a new costume set for every character, original costumes that could be pretty much their default costumes and no one would notice.

Or another fan design pack.

If we have to go the anime route again, give me an One Piece set.

You just made me feel like a villain now lol. I understand what you are getting at though.

Not sure when it happened, but I just checked XBL and the Hayate costume is now available for Xbox One costume pass holders as of 9:36 p.m. US Central time. Thus ends the costume pass 5.

Honestly, I still don't see a new DOA coming around anytime soon...and like I said before, I'd rather not that they rush it until they have a plan in place in where they want to take the series.

I don't want to see DOA5.5 masquerading as DOA6, I honestly want to see evolution of the current system we have now. And I'll give them plenty of time to figure out how to radicalize the system, especially since they do still have the thoughts of making the game competitive based on their minds.

Hoping they have a remake for Nintendo Switch

I want it but as of now, there isn't anything really interesting for that console so hoping DOA gets one even if it's just minor changes

If they do make a version for the Nintendo Switch, better not expect anything new.

As for the costumes at hand, I plan on getting the Season 5 Pass anyway when I get the chance(most likely next month) but the costumes range from not bad to great to meh. And I doubt they will stop with Season 5 anyway, DOA is too much easy bank in terms of costumes and guest characters at this rate...

I will laugh if we somehow get Chun-Li, Cammy or Tifa Lockheart if there is a next season.

Yes I too hope we get another platform with zero crossplay to further split the playerbase. Five clearly wasn't enough.

I couldn't care less about DOA6 if things continue like they are now.

If they do, then DOA6 will just be

1) A story mode where every character is a TOTAL caricature of a shadow of their former selves. No depth allowed!
2) No arcade mode at ALL
3) Only 1 stage, which is an empty brown box. And Dojo.
4) Less popular girls will be dropped from the roster, as well as most of the guys
5) Only schoolgirl and copypaste fetish costumes, replacing even former defaults
6) No on disc content, ever character, costume, stage, mode, music and menu option is separate dlc for 3.99 each
7) Only one bad amateur rap song as the only music in the game. For everything.
8) 15 Kasumis to replace all the other cast members that were dropped
9) The rest of the male cast replaced with genderswaps anyway.

let's see what we get from the amount of DLC sales.

1. DOAX3
2. Pachinko Machine
3. NiOH

They couldn't get us to buy Zack money in DOAX3

if only Nioh didn't sell that much, probably they would be force to do something if you know what i mean.

Pachinko machines are an entirely different manner. It's housed from the manufacturers who obtain rights with some of the devs to work on it for revenue builds, some of the costs go to the actual companies that make them. DLC on the other hand are not tied to pachi slots for profit gains for obvious reasons why.

Also what's wrong with NiOh? It's a step up than solely making fighters all the time since NG isn't around. I find NiOh to be an improvement.

NiOH is not bad, don't get me wrong. It's just not the kind of game that i want. I played all souls game and i see the gameplay pretty similar except for the hot chick in it.

I think Nioh is a good game, it's just not what I'd play, and I hope that's not how DOA6 would look graphic wise. I hope they go for the current Dissidia FF look just with the shaders and sweat and stuff, the game actually looks pretty damn good. I think I like the artstyle even more than the DOA5 one it just has alot more crisp detail and the body models are good too.

I'm still holding out for a Final Fantasy collaboration costume set.

You know, thinking about it, that actually seems like a very viable crossover. It would be a nice tribute to Dead Fantasy. I'm surprised they haven't made such a pack yet. And I personally don't even care for that series. Next year maybe.

They have years ahead for planning. Graphically speaking I wouldn't worry about the outcome because I'm hella sure it will be one of the most highly detailed game, however graphics doesn't define the entirety from result for a better game either. Just the obvious point out.

1) Only the characters introduced wasn't allowed to have any depth...and I have to agree that otherwise, we would be having Mila and Rig as main characters which seems outside the norm for DOA completely(As it's mainly the Mugen-Tenshin's story)
2) There is Arcade Mode and various options...got to say along with Chapstick, are you thinking of SFV?
3) Except they already changed that tune with Ultimate, Last Round and the various DLC stages
4) I HIGHLY doubt that considering they didn't drop any of the characters during the past 4 games and Bankotsubo was only dropped from appearing in DOA5 due to the same messup as Ein and Leon. And they sold Nyotengu as DLC because they knew Bankotsubo wasn't THAT popular enough that people will buy him to cover the costs.
5) Okay now that's funny.
6) Okay that doesn't even make sense. This isn't EA or Activision, this is Koei Tecmo. And if they couldn't get away with that shit in Dynasty Warriors, what makes you think they can get away with that in any game of theirs?
7) We seen a music selection and them adding more and more songs throughout the new stages, characters and otherwise, try again.
8 and 9 is literally the same thing and even that fails to make even a chuckle out of me.
Wouldn't Marie and Honoka clones make more sense?

Yes. KT isn't EA or Activision.

KT is just a publisher who have been disguising 20-bucks DLC into 60-bucks new games, locking on-disc items on release day for day-1 micro-transactions, released 2 repacks of a game and an impotent handheld port, and sold 5 Season Passes for 99 bucks each for 95% of it contains costumes for the latest repack and that still haven't included the stuff from previous packs of the game.

Completely harmless there. Totally won't grow worse than EA, Activision, and Ubi.

I'm perfectly positive on that.
