Nope.

The bottom line is that the complaints here about how DOA5 is being handled have passed -your- threshold of acceptability. Mkay. But, how much/how often you should be allowed to complain about something or in what way you should be allowed to complain about something before you should have your fan status questioned is not an objective standard. And I don't really see how you can deride people for complaining about DLC outfits and then badmouth DLC outfits yourself in the same post. But, it's whatever.

Various people here have dictated their terms for something getting praise, so you can expect that when it happens. Yeah, sometimes complaining about things is pointless, but so is life. lol

Congratulations, you seriously did not get the point of my post, so I'll highlight it and then tell you exactly what you got wrong:

Honestly...I gotta agree.

There's a thing of being disappointed, but then there's the incessant complaining which can get pretty damn ridiculous(aka The Tatsunoko pack is terrible because of freaking POLYGONS).

These outfits are bland and the females being destructible is a bit ridiculous since they have no bras on anyway(unless it's strapless) and the males feel like they should have been for a summer set, but some people go on way too hard to the point that I stated before that it's questionable that they are even fans to begin with.

I wasn't accusing people at all of whether they are fans or not but the levels of accusations every time a new costume pack comes out it's overtly negative even when the outfits themselves can easily be passable, it's like people aren't fans and are hecklers.

I'm not saying people cannot be fans and criticize something, it's when it goes above and beyond into doing this every time does it seem more and more pointless to even bother with the critique when you might as well have it cut and paste.

And even then, I never tried tossing more credentials or points across and pretended I'm more of a fan or you are a less of a fan or anything, so congrats on missing all of that. I even critiqued it as being bland so that makes even less sense...

The point in your head and what you wrote may be two different things.

I don't think you understand what you are saying.

What you consider to be "above and beyond" is subjective. What you think is "over(t)ly negative" is subjective. What you consider to be "passable" is subjective.

And even then, I never tried tossing more credentials or points across and pretended I'm more of a fan or you are a less of a fan or anything, so congrats on missing all of that. I even critiqued it as being bland so that makes even less sense...

You seem to be misunderstanding something. No one is accusing you of proclaiming that you're more of a fan than someone else. You are implying it, though. Your standard of "complaining to the point where they may as well be hecklers instead of fans" compared to you merely "complaining", which you did indeed do (and which I mentioned before if you missed it), is arbitrary.

You "critiqued" the outfits as bland. You are in essence saying that your issues with the costumes are okay to bring up, but no one else's are because you find them to be too harsh or repetitive or something. You can complain about the things you want, but oh, you're not a "heckler". However, if other people complain one too many times about something for your liking, you have to wonder if they're actually fans.

If you agree that the costumes are bland, then what do you care if other people also have reservations about them or think they're completely terrible? You have a problem with people's tone or something. Okay. I'm telling you that your standards are arbitrary and subjective.

So...congratulations on being arbitrary...?

...Did...did they just make this as a swimsuit pack, then stick aprons on the girls to have an excuse to charge more?

Charge more? This is one of the cheaper costume packs and it has a suit for everyone. Argue all you want about the quality or originality of the designs but you cant deny that 23.99 for 34 costumes isnt one of the better deals TN has offered...

I think he's referring to the girls being $3 because their outfits are destructible. Would have been $2 without a piece of exploding cloth.

Also lifeguard on duty with some crazy girl wearing an apron over her bikini

ah, I didnt know the girls' suits were charged extra (I was planning to buy the whole bundle), my bad...

still, the bundle cost a bit less than most bundles so they're clearly setting it up so you buy the entire thing as opposed to individually which is fine by me...

While I do appreciate them giving fan service to the characters, it's the concept behind it and the laziness for the idea that is rather disappointing. Ex: You could give one of them a maid apron, alright cool....but do majority of them need one? it's basically a palette swap and slapping that other color outfit into another character. You could give 1-2 character speedos, alright cool..but do the rest need one? believe it or not but some of them look rather bland and just generic having the same concept applied to them. This goes with those bunny outfits that was released awhile back.

I could be that one specific guy to be a technical nazi here with the word equality for a correct term but that would make me such a grand douchebag (Which is usually fun) the equality I see here is each of them having "equal" costumes of just a different color and design. That's about as "equality" as one could get that is just rather obvious. So far there are a few such as Gen Fu and Rig's headpiece that is rather different along with Bass having the option to keep his belt, unless you want to count Ein but his portion was basically taken from Hitomi and just slapped on Ein, I also feel bad for the entire female roster as it was basically slapping that Microsoft paint into that next character (Of course it's not Microsoft paint, I was just being a nice jackass there.) See for some (especially me) I expected the outfits to "all" be different, not just the same thing over again into another character. Eliot had it good here actually. His look more different than the rest.

Now usually I wait for that one specific poster that goes "God, like just be glad your character has an outfit and he's from VF." You are correct, he did get one...But not something that was intended because posters want another to just simply accept it how it is when they can just... oh uh I dunno, make it all different so that it pleases "both" sides and not just cater to one side 90% of the time. Don't even get me started with Raidou. They basically just took his pants off and call it a day.

I don't think you understand what you are saying.

Adding pictures and memes isn't doing you any favors so I'll cut through the nonsense and get into the meat of what you are saying:

You seem to be misunderstanding something. No one is accusing you of proclaiming that you're more of a fan than someone else. You are implying it, though. Your standard of "complaining to the point where they may as well be hecklers instead of fans" compared to you merely "complaining", which you did indeed do (and which I mentioned before if you missed it), is arbitrary.

Which funny enough, doesn't stop my point from being true...

I find this ironic that you come to this accusation because it's frankly not what I said nor implied so you basically pulled that from your own head.
I never said nor implied anything of the sort. I said that I have no problem with people critiquing with the outfits, the point of the matter that if you complained the same way about all the outfits, it's pointless to continue with it when it's pretty much the same thing.

I.E. If you pretty much hated every costume that has come out(or in your case, you don't plan on buying anymore), what's the point in critiquing it then? You are going to be negative all the time or just plain on not buying it at all whatsoever so you are pretty much going in fully expecting to hate it and there you go. It's like your hate with Honoka, you honestly expect people to listen to you if it came down to how well she plays? You are going to be accused of bias and becomes pointless to listen to.

If you agree that the costumes are bland, then what do you care if other people also have reservations about them or think they're completely terrible? You have a problem with people's tone or something. Okay. I'm telling you that your standards are arbitrary and subjective.

So...congratulations on being arbitrary...?

Um okay, congrats on stating the obvious Werewolf, you've "enlightened"...whoever with that...
