I like everything else but the candycane stripes on her gut make me think of a barber pole.

Awesome art but I'll have to disagree with that one design choice.

I was going for a patriotic look xD

.so I get a fb message from my sister about a chance for a grant/scholarship for emerging artists, deadline is Saturday. Supposed to send in samples of your work and an essay why you need it.

Comps been dead for weeks. Can't take advantage of it.

This is so typical its not even depressing anymore...

Eh don't think my arts good enough for it yet anyway. You could get it but its a California thing.

And I know but stripes on stomach is rarely a good design choice lol. It works on Cap and Juggernaught but that's about the only time I can think of. And you did the stripes diagonally which brings to mind the barber shop pole lol.
But this is just my opinion don't take it to heart.

I like the stripes but i toned them down so they don't consume the whole bodysuit hope it looks a bit better??

I like it so much better that way! Makes it feel more...designed like its a different pattern on the sides and implied in the back, whereas before it looked like it was just candy cane all the way around. Plus now the stars form a type of constellation belt and the design accentuates her curves more as they lead down her body with the lines.

Though again this is just one persons opinion.

Okay so I decided I'm going to spend Friday and Saturday filling up sketchbooks then scanning them in at Kinkos and trying for that scholarship anyway. If nothing else its good motivation for practice. And my sister knows someone on the board

Quick sketch from pause screen

Managed to get both 64 Zelda's on 3DS and remembering characters I love. In this case its the short haired guard in gerudo valley. She wasn't much in 64 but her revamped model in 3d version is so freaking hot! She's inspiring a new OC for me after I noticed that she's identical to my troll on WoW.

But its so hot getting sweat on the paper so this is all I'm doing for now lol.

Ever had an awesome design go through your head as a fleeting thought, but when you try to sketch it down,

A) you don't remember it all right

And/or

B) your too damn tired to draw correctly so it doesn't look right?

I just had two awesome designs pop into my head but both of those problems came up -_-

I doodled the first one enough for the over all idea and I can build from there, though its not like how it was in my head.

The second one though I gave up halfway through trying to jot it down because I can't remember the details at all.

So frustrating.

Just bought some new markers and a new sketchbook so I guess it's traditional city for me for a while.

I haven't posted any of my work here yet, but seen as how Ive gone from 2D to 3D, I figured I would share some of my stuff with you guys! Its all done in Blender (for now, moving to zBrush soon) and PS for textures.
