also, only the loose hair works with the hat. if you use any other hair, just open up the dlc with the dlc tool and add an extra hairstyle. hairstyle b wont have a hat.

Thanks. It actually fixed the problems with all of the costumes I listed. But now the first schoolgirl costume is messed up

So i put any character of any game? Like claire redfield jacket or something else?

yeah, just extract a coat with the tmc polygon tool, and import that into blender with the plugin. then import an obj of claire redfield's jacket and use the transfer weights feature from the doa coat to claires coat. then export clairs coat as tmcmesh and inject it in the game with tmc polygon insert :)

We can add custom OBJ data into the game now? I need to find the tools for this. I use zBrush to do alot of editing and have been waiting for the ability to do it in DOA

you need the 2 tmc polygon tools and the blender plugin from this link

you can do what ever you want to the obj in zbrush, but when your done with that, you will have to bring that obj into blender for weight transfering/painting.

Not at all familiar with the UI of Blender but as long as I have the options I want I'll figure it out somehow. Really appreciate the info. Thanks

did something more complicated. I made a gothic version of the pigtails from lollypop chainsaw, and added chun-li bracelets for the hair bands, and injected it into doa.

Not really sure a tutorial is needed here. you just extract the mesh with TMC polygon tool, and import it into blender. then do what you want in blender, can also import obj's and transfer the weights if you want. then just export it as tmcmesh and inject with tmc polygon insert. if your not familiar with blender, there are lots of tutorials out there already. :)

Whoa what? You can import custom things now? What's the current status of DOA modding? Is there anything that's not possible?

my modding activities have been sort of interrupted by real life, so no, no news (unless somebody else has looked into this)

Thats make me know that we can import an another charater... like kasumi doa2 or something isn't it?

I download blender 2.75a ver. i put the tmcmesh importer and exporter in the script but it doesn't appears :/

hmmm lets see.

cant add a new texture, only replace an existing one. so any part added has to share a texture with something if nothing was removed. but we can edit UVs, so we can cram new stuff into unused texture space.

can't add dlc characters. which is a shame, since I wanted this gothic mod to be her own character. also we can make the miyako face work on any character now so I'm planning a costume pack for her, but since no dlc characters can be added, she will have to share a slot with someone.

animation modding and secondary animation combining isn't possible.

that's all the stuff we can't do that I can think of

file > user preferences > Add-ons > install from file. select the actual ZIP file. (do not extract its contents) then click the check box to turn it on.

Thanks, i did it :) now my another problem is that the tmcmesh doesn't show my job in it

custom exported meshes usually end up being in a different location then where you place it. so its probably there, just someplace else you haven't seen, so must be offset in edit mode to compensate for its misplacement.

eg. my lollypop chainsaw pigtails gets repositioned up for some reason, so I had to move it down so it would sit right on the head in game and in noesis
