Man I always feel like the only guy in the world who doesn't know a thing about Bleach

Totally unrelated but here's some quick perspective exercises... Lately I've been really trying to up my perspective game.

This is a super simple and quick process to make perspective easier

1 Draw a side view stick figure doing desired pose
2 Draw the bottom of a box from desired camera angle
3 Place the character inside the box

Basically if you can draw a box in 2 point perspective you can draw a person as long as your brain doesn't shut down during step 3.

My brain shuts down at step 3.....

Horizon line was a tricky concept for me at first. Everything's simpler once you start boxing your characters though

Nice! Never played it but I'm aware of her. And I like thick

More random concept doodles. Arts not great but its more for fleshing out ideas than looking good at this point

And for the life of me I cant settle on a final design for Marissa Malone which is a problem because she shows up very early on so I gotta finalize it.

Thanks. I ditched the cat ears and made her thicker though.

And not yet. Was thinking mecha Leon and phantom of the opera mila but nothing good yet.

Concept for a bratty celebrity in my story who plays a central role.

I DESPISE celebrities like this so I should have fun writing a bitch like her. Also in my story long hair is a trait of the privileged. Thoughts? Her "stage" outfit is based on a mardigras stripper/showgirl, yak now bikini made of just little shiny coins and string. Supposed to have a figure second only to the cat girl above, which is why she hates the catgirl. Like I said, I'm writing her as a spoiled bitch.

This was supposed to be a redesign of a certain character but I like her so much I'm tempted to claim her as my own ;p

OK I won't but it did lead to the creation of another OC, and more ideas for a story I'm doing.

So I guess that's a tip to come up with OCs. Redesign existing characters and something may pop into your head.

That's how I come up with half of mine lol. Usually inspired by an existing character, redesign them, then turn the redesign into an OC. Then just let creative differences and story shape them further so they are fully separate from the inspiration. That's how the main character id my story originated, same with Lily, Marissa, The Emperor and General DeMera.

Out of curiosity, what character did she originate from?
