IMO Helena's problem is that she has NH stuns, period. Anyone with such a stupid mixup game should not be able to start an offensive by randomly tapping your ankle.

Oh yeah, I see that happening left and right. Like how everyone throw punishes Ryu's 6P every time he doesn't use a follow-up.

The horror. Helena is doomed. Bottom tier.

Helena has 2 mid punches follow ups from 33p.

This type of change shouldn't happen with any character. The opposite should be for any attack on hit.

The mentality of the change is helena's 33p4p is safe on block/hit. Only a grappler can punish her( or lol 2p). I disagree with this change a lot though.

She needs her sidestep. Her pressure and damage is very weak, not to mention how bad her reach is. She would be unplayable if her sidestep were gone. They should take her expert-holds out and give her better pokes and better throws

The only thing Marie needed was string variety to keep people on edge and a low option in her PP string outside of 6K, which she also got. I think Marie will be great now! =P she was already good- but she will be better now she has a move to keep people on their toes after 9P ( well, here say at the moment since I'm ASSUMING 236P can be inputted after all 9P animations. ). Not to mention she can now go PP into 1PP/P+K.... which will give her even more variety.... and there could be even more we wont see until the game releases.

Marie is shaping up to be better, I wonder if they nerfed her at all though? She might have lost some of her safety to make up for her new lengthier strings.

So, the only nerf was her 66P? I don't even use it that much anyways, so I don't think I should be worried.

Just remember 236p is like 12- so she takes risks of getting throw punished for doing it. 236p has no tracking so they can sidestep it if they wanna.
