I posted this in other thread. Figured it was worth mentioning here:

lmao. She really does play rock, paper, scissors when fighting!! XD

@1:15

Although I doubt anyone's gonna use it b/c it takes so many frames to execute it...(although I'm assuming it's just a taunt).

She has a launch throw from heichu guys... I'm like... freaking out right now lol! She's already doing Kokoro stuff better than Kokoro! O_O

Heichu (Kokoro), Dragon Stance (Jann Lee), Ducking (Zack), and Dokuritsu-Ho (Brad Wong). She also has Carrera (Lisa) but no moves from here though.

She also has Christie's Ducking Roll from Dokuritsu-Ho, and her own stance. That's like 8 stances.

Just what I imagined but not only does Honoka have some of the same moves with different propertiedls/range/frames but she a few other unique moves as well, even within her the stances. Now... having this many stances... this may make Honoka her a little difficult to play. I can already see her having a lot of combo longevity from how her move set if turning out. Another thing I would like to know is if she is able to go into each of those stances out from the whatever current stance that she is using...
I.e. going from Helena's Bokuho to Zack's Ducking. Either that, or Honoka would have moves within the stances that will transition over, which would be helpful in organizing long term and high damage combos.
In terms of play style, she apparently needs to find a way to get in on the opponent... which could be difficult due to her range. As if to say, it might difficult for Honoka to poke around...
Making her somewhat similar to Kyo95 on KOFXIII for example. On the said game, Kyo is really strong from up close but he can not play at the mid range all too well (he needs to either get in or get out...)
Because, of all of these stances and follow ups I can sort of see her being a tricky character who still allows the player to emphasize on versatility, mix up, stun game and confusion. Her wall game in particular may also be deadly, especially the is trying to get up.

I just have a feeling people are just going to automatically transition to stances they feel most comfortable using with her.

Since i play helena, christie and i play a bit of lisa i'm going to be using bokuho, roll stance and carrera a bit more then others. Most likely brad players will go straight to his stance and i think it's going to be an interesting mis-mash of how different people use her.

I'm more or less going to be using helena and christies moves tho

I dunno. If it's apart of her movelist, I'd probably force myself to get comfortable with characters stances I'm unaware of... besides not being aware of them on said characters will probably make it easier to you to learn with Honoka since you won't be trying to do things that work with said character with her...

.... Did that make sense? xD Like knowing Helena I feel will put you at a disadvantage cause you'll be trying to follow... I dunno BOK 4PK with 33P4P or something as opposed to... whatever ender she actually has. Or you'll try do 2P+K into bokuho... BOK 1K but that isn't a move with her so it wont work etc.

Similar to P4 with Kasumi, stuff being different inputs is going to mess with peoples heads I think. At least it did with me when I tried to learn P4... now I can't play Kasumi cause I'm pushing incorrect inputs xD It's horrible. So I just dropped Kasumi altogether for P4. Luckily most of the characters Honoka has adopted stuff from I don't use too much... so I'm willing to drop them all completely for her if it gets too confusing.

I'm pretty sure Honoka will have no ninja skills. That's what Raidou is there for. She will just be the civ characters like Hitomi, Mila, Helena, Jann, Brad etc.

I for one am glad with how she's turning out. I'm curious as to who elses moves she has since I doubt we've seen it all. I hope she gets Mila's gatling punch thing.... and Marie's BT KKK xD that would be awesome... ugh I need to see her command training D=
5.01 : Ayane's spin-kick

Well, i want to try her now, i love the way she fight.

That 46P is so unpredictable man

Yeah I don't like it. From the trailer vid though and this command training she is stacked with lift stuns and mixups. She's gonna be nasty in her stun game considering she has moves out of stances that can transition into other stances.
